The Summer Solstice

At the Summer Solstice the energies within the astral split with those that had become balanced with their counterparts in the Spiritual Planes moving into the Akashic Records to take their place and unfold as real events in their proper time. These would be the coming harvest in the fall.

Those unable to become balanced would begin the slow process of moving upward through the Magickal Planes and their energy would gradually withdraw from the physical world into the Magickal Planes and then ultimately upward into the Spiritual Planes. So at the moment of the Summer Solstice this split happened and all events considered complete were magickally sealed off as they entered the Akashic Records. There was no more that could be done with them.

The only energies available to be worked with were the unbalanced energies that would be returning to the Spiritual Planes. The time period from the Summer Solstice to the Autumn Equinox was the final window of opportunity to astrally empower and balance events and activities for the coming spring and the entire coming year! Most events happened at least one year ahead of time in the astral planes before manifesting as physical events. Energetically the Autumn Equinox is the deadline for personally making any improvements or alterations before the astral activity moved up into the Spiritual Planes.

In my own life for many years now this time just before the Autumn Equinox has always been extremely busy right up to the wire and this year is no exception. I am really scrambling to get some last minute projects completed before I run out of time.

From the Summer Solstice we move into the next midpoint known as Lughnasadh which represents the first harvest. Since the entire harvest only needs to be taken this time represents the first fruits of our past labors. The movement within the Magickal Planes is layer by layer filling up with light as space is created by those things leaving which are manifesting and need to be harvested. The movement and activity is from the lowest layers moving upwards one layer at a time forcing things out to manifest and making room for new things.

Again Lughnasadh is traditionally a Lunar Festival so the Lunar Cycle needs to be taken into account as well as the Solar Cycle. It is the first complete lunar cycle after the Summer Solstice or the 2nd Full Moon after the Summer Solstice because the Full Moon is the maximum compression point within the Magickal Planes. So there is an orb or window of activity between the Solar Day of Midsummer and that Full Moon.

As the harvest begins we also work toward ensuring things that will be carried over into the next year. So this is a very busy time of year!

Beltaine

The midpoint of the solar cycle is called Beltaine and although it is traditionally a lunar festival it is celebrated as May Day! Technically it is the 2nd full moon after the Spring Equinox or the full moon after Easter. Again there is overlap between the exact May Day and the full moon which creates an orb of influence. This time period lasts from the 1st of May to the Summer Solstice and the movement or activity is in the Magickal Planes and from the top layers downward through to the lower ones rupturing each layer as it goes and forcing balanced events and activities into the Akashic Records to unfold as actual events according to their own nature.

The vital life force of spring is being driven deep into the ground. But the Beltaine full moon is the completion of the first stage of compression where the rupturing of the astral fabric only happens within each individual layer. The movement downward from layer to layer is only just beginning and the moon is working against the sun because it is trying to move everything upward as it moves toward the New Moon! So the Solar Cycle and Lunar Cycle are trying to cancel each other out!

The heavy movement where the entire astral planes purge themselves and pour everything possible into the Akashic Records actually begins at the New Moon following the Beltaine Full Moon and lasts for the next two weeks to the 3rd Full Moon which is just before the summer solstice as the most powerful manifesting movement of the entire year! It is incredibly intense! Then things let up a bit as we near the summer solstice because the Lunar Cycle and the Solar Cycle are once more in conflict.

I have experienced these energies in this way for years! To me this is not theory but life! It is these activities that will ensure the nature of the coming harvest in the fall.

As a metaphor our gardens are beginning to blossom and we need to tend to the weeds and nurture the plants as they attain their full growth. At this time of the solar cycle we can see how many plants have survived and have a pretty good idea of what kind of harvest we can expect in the fall. Our projects are in full development and we just need to maintain them.

Spring Equinox-Ostara

The Spring Equinox corresponds to the 1st Quarter of the Lunar cycle where the energetic activity has completed itself in the Spiritual Planes and transitions to the Magical Planes to energize its corresponding counterpart. Those dreams, events and activities that have a suitable counterpart in the Magickal Planes move forward into manifestation, but they can manifest at any point in the spectrum depending upon where they are found. They can manifest as physical events, emotional events, as thought and as inspiration. And they don’t manifest right away. Once they have found their true counterpart they enter the Akashic Record into a time line that will gradually unfold through the rest of the year.

So this time of year, the Spring Equinox brings energy and movement down into the Magickal Planes and brings vital life force as well. Again the movement of the energy is from the top down, from the highest levels to the lower levels. One by one each astral layer will be activated and the events within it will be compressed and forced to merge and grow or self destruct to make room for those that will move forward. This activity will happen within each astral layer one by one, but also some events will be influenced by the lunar and daily cycles.

The Spring Equinox is closely associated with the Full Moon immediately following it which is Ostara and one of the three most powerful full moons of the year. Where that occurs is a maximum compression point that gives added force to the rupturing of the astral fabric. There is bleed through between the solar cycle, the lunar cycle and the daily cycle as compression and rupturing of the astral fabric occurs within each of them. The main point is that the rupturing will always occur at the weakest point in the energetic circuit. It is the combined force and activity of all these cycles that determine the final outcome and a person that intentionally ruptures the astral fabric on a daily basis will see a compounded effect within the lunar and solar cycles! That is why some type of daily practice is so important!

This bleed through effect is why a complete lunar cycle from full moon to full moon after one of the solar festivals is required to ensure the completion of astral activity. That is why Beltaine and Samhain are so powerful. They represent one complete lunar cycle after each equinox. Ostara is powerful in bringing the energies of Spring in but it is only a beginning.

In our metaphor of the solar cycle as a circulatory system the vital life force energy has chosen its main pathways, chosen its main events and individual which it will move through, and now enters the physical organs. It is the time of leafing and sprouting as new life shows for the first time. This happens in our environment and inside us as well. We take those first physical steps toward manifesting our dream, and our coming harvest for the season. We begin to work on the fulfillment of our dream. It is time to act.

Imbolc-The Stirring

While most people think of Imbolc as the 2nd of February it is considered a lunar festival and not a solar festival. So we include the full moon that immediately precedes it because that is the point of maximum compression within the Spiritual Planes! Past that full moon the solar cycle will continue to compress the astral layers but the moon has already began to let up and the two activities work against each other. In any case Imbolc marks the midpoint of the solar cycle where the 118 layers of the Spiritual Planes begin to rupture from the highest to the lowest in preparation of the spring equinox where they will pass their energies on downward into the Magickal Planes in search of their counterparts.

It is during this time of year, from Imbolc to the Spring Equinox that you will gain insight into what needs to be done during the coming season. That which was merely a seed or an idea is gradually taking on form and struggling for manifestation. It is this struggle to survive that marks this time of year and it will be during the Spring Equinox that a determination will be made as to which seeds will continue to grow and which ones will die and become fertilizer for the others. So this time, the harshest time of the year, is marked by the struggle to exist against competing forces. The second full moon after Imbolc, the one just before the Spring Equinox, is one of the three most powerful full moons of the year.

If you consider the solar cycle to be a giant heart beat that circulates light and energy throughout Gaia’s energy systems, the winter solstice is when the energy leaves the heart and travels through major arteries. The summer solstice is when that same energy finally reaches the capillaries and is distributed at the cellular level prior to its return back to the heart and the lungs. So the Spring Equinox is when the energy enters the organs and this mid point time is when the energy travels through the main arteries of the body to the various organs.

Put another way the energy is choosing the main events and the most important individuals and directing that energy through them. How does the astral determine which events and individuals to empower? Through the rupturing of the astral planes! As the energy and stress builds it is the weak points that will rupture. So if your dream ruptures and collapses it is because it had too many weak spots or holes in it and wasn’t realistic! If it is well conceived and strong it will hold together and become empowered during this time of year.

I bring this up for those who think casting a magick circle and putting energy into it once is going to be enough to make a difference, it is at this point what they are trying to do will rupture and fail because it has too many holes in it.

Another point that I would like to make is that if an event is ripe for manifestation it might begin in the highest planes as an idea and during this period make it all the way down through all 118 layers to then give its energy to its counterpart in the Magickal Planes. Events and individuals can move swiftly up and down these astral layers or they might remain for years and even lifetimes stuck at a particular level depending on how much energy they are personally generating and adding to the mix.

3rd Quarter to New Moon

At the time of the 3rd quarter all possible events in the Magickal Planes have been squeezed upward and their energy begins to flow into the Spiritual Planes to seek their astral counterparts. At the same time the Spiritual Planes are absorbing energy from the sun causing expansion and growth from the sunlight itself. Again, this is much like the action of a syringe that draws in fluid as the plunger is pulled back.

Once more the activity begins at the lowest levels and gradually moves upward to the highest levels of the Spiritual Planes.

This happens for all 118 layers because it is the energy and not always the event itself that moves upward. Imagine a piano keyboard with 118 keys. Now visualize pressing down the lowest key and sliding your finger smoothly all the way from the lowest tone to the highest. Each note is individually toned. Now imagine it happening once more as the notes are again sounded from the lowest to the highest.

The first sequence ruptures the astral fabric within each individual layer one at a time forcing astral events to either merge, grow or become destroyed. The activity remains within each individual astral layer of the Spiritual Planes.

Then at the midpoint between the 3rd quarter and New Moon the second sequence begins once more from lowest to highest. But this time the astral fabric ruptures and those events and astral bodies capable of moving upward to the next layer do so. In astrology the midpoint is the 45 degree point which is the most powerful in terms of energy.

After each layer has ruptured and every possible event has moved upward as high as it possibly can those events and astral bodies in the Spiritual Planes have merged as much as possible with their counterparts in the Magickal Planes and the energy is once more directed downward. Again these events do not need to be physical events but can be emotional events or spiritual events. They can take place on any level but they will need to be balanced energetically with the Magickal Planes before they can manifest.

You can see how the events and entities within the Spiritual Planes gradually attempt to find a common resolution with the Magickal Planes by going higher and higher. Typically this movement upwards brings things into conscious awareness so that it can be consciously dealt with.

Important events in your own life will not normally be at the top or bottom of the Spiritual Planes but someplace in the middle. They will be toned and activated when their key is struck and not at the exact moments of the 3rd Quarter or New Moon. Any magickal work in the astral planes should be done before the key is struck and that level activated, if possible and not after the fact. If the magickal working is done too late the activation will be postponed until the next month’s lunar cycle activates it! By that time most of the energy will have dissipated harmlessly away.

You can tell roughly where your personal activity is located by the time of your dream during the 3 1/2 day spread. Whether the dream happens immediately after the 3rd quarter or closer to the midpoint. Each lunar cycle will once more activate any active areas so that you may have dreams during the same time each month when that specific layer is activated until the process is complete.

To be more specific any dreams within 3 1/2 days after the 3rd quarter will only have horizontal elements. Dreams within the 3 1/2 days approaching the New Moon will have vertical elements as the astral activity moves up into the next layer and attempts to find it’s complement so that it can somehow manifest.

This completes a brief overview of the lunar cycle and shows how the astral fabric naturally ruptures on its own during the lunar cycle and to a lesser extent during the daily cycle. We now know enough about the astral planes to understand more about the solar cycle which we will be exploring next.

1st Quarter to Full Moon

At the time of the 1st Quarter all possible events have been squeezed by the Spiritual Planes and the energy they contain moves down into the Magickal planes to find their counterparts. This happens for all 118 layers because it is the energy and not always the event itself that moves down. An event in the upper emotional realms may find physical manifestation in the upper emotional realms as an example. Not all things become physical events.

Immediately after the 1st quarter the compression of the Magickal Planes begins.

Imagine a piano keyboard with 118 keys. Now visualize pressing down the highest key and sliding your finger smoothly all the way from the highest tone to the lowest. Each note is individually toned. Now imagine it happening once more as the notes are again sounded from the highest to the lowest.

When we understand the lunar cycle we can also understand the daily cycle and the solar cycle because they are similar in their workings. At the time of the New Moon all 118 layers of the astral planes in the northern hemisphere or the Spiritual Planes have been filled to capacity. Intro to the Lunar Cycle

THE LUNAR CYCLE

    As the moon circles the earth it alternately compresses and expands the astral layers around the earth.

    At the time of the new moon the sun and the moon are in the same part of the sky combining their gravitational forces.  This pulls the astral layers as high above the earth’s surface as possible and expands them so they can hold more energy.  At this time the maximum amount of light energy from the sun is allowed into the expanded and stretched astral planes of the earth.

    Normally this space is filled by light energy from the sun but it can also be filled with sexual energy from individuals or any other type of physically generated energy.  In any case at the time of the new moon the earth’s astral planes are completely filled and can’t hold any more energy of any kind.

    Immediately after the new moon the astral layers begin to compress.  This continues until the full moon when the sun and the moon are in opposite parts of the sky.  At this point the earth’s astral layers have been compressed as much as possible and any excess energy has been forced to become physical actions and events or it has been forced to self-destruct. Both of these events happen through the forced rupturing of the astral fabric by the lunar cycle itself.

    Immediately after the full moon the earth’s astral layers begin to expand and draw more energy into them in an almost suction action.  This pulsing action of compression and expansion causes a continuous flow of energy among the astral creations in the earth’s astral planes impelling new physical events and new astral events continuously.

    Light energy passes through the astral planes and strikes both astral objects as well as physical objects.  Light energy is a male energy and causes expansion or growth of physical and astral objects by transforming into expansive magnetic field energy.  As the astral planes expand so do the astral objects and beings within the astral planes.  They may combine with other astral events and become more complex.

    During the compression phase these astral beings and events are forced together by the action of the moon which ruptures the astral fabric. I will speak of this more completely later.

    The earth is completely surrounded by the astral planes but there are actually two astral planes,  the norther hemisphere astral planes are called the Spirit planes and the southern hemisphere astral planes are called the Magical planes.

    The Spirit planes involve north pole magnetic field energy and try to disburse all superfluous astral energy outward into the cosmic leaving only key critical astral events and individuals intact.

    The Magical planes involve south pole magnetic field energy and try to focus astral energy at the lowest possible point to manifest as physical events.

The Akashic Records

Earth, Moon, Space, Space Travel, Astronomy, Universe

Take a cross section of Gaia at the equator and visualize that slice of balanced events or record of balanced events moving through time and space so that instead of a sphere you have a long flat plane that resembles a football field marked with 10 yard lines. At one end is the beginning of an age and at the other end is the end of an age.

That is the vision I had to the new age that we are currently entering. I had that vision over twenty five years ago and I still consider it to be a true vision of Gaia and humanities future. You see, before an age can begin it has to have an ending!

The classic book by Michael Harner “The Way of the Shaman” casually mentions how a true shaman gets a vision to the seven great ages that Gaia has gone through. For me these visions were extremely vivid and included the one about the age of the dinosaurs as well as several earlier ones about the evolution of life on Gaia. Those visions were part of my history as well. I was one of the souls there at the beginning as were many of us.

But this vision was of the new age we are just entering and at the end humans had merged with some type of reptilian species. Humanity didn’t exist any more, at least not as we know humanity today!

The point that I’m making here is that each age is energetically blocked off with definite starting and ending points. All the karma and the energy has to be balanced. That is what the Akashic Records are, a record of an entire age from beginning to end. And before it can even begin the ending needs to be there as well so that it is balanced. Once the beginning point and ending point have been determined the energy is released and free to form its own versions of the past and future that swirl above and below the Akashic Records. These alternate versions of the past and future are the Spiritual planes and the Magickal Planes that I posted about earlier.

Because there is truly no such thing as time the past and present are always in flux and the Akashic Records are living things that alter as well. But they can only alter in a way that ultimately keeps the same balance at the end of the age. Once the pieces have all been created they can be mixed and stirred as much as possible and the Akashic Records can be rewritten and are always being rewritten!

We are stuck in the present moment as we travel through the existing version of the Akashic Records. So we each have a destiny or plan to follow. When we try to change it we are trying to change every other thing that happens within that age and that is extremely difficult but possible to a degree.

For example it was written in the Akashic Records that the last age would end with the destruction of all life on Gaia in the nuclear holocaust of WWIII. But we avoided it and in avoiding it changed the beginning of this one. The rich and elite were supposed to survive in their underground bunkers and emerge when it was safe to take over the remainder of humanity and resume rulership of the entire world. Things didn’t turn out that way and that is why we have this mess we are in right now! Because we averted WWIII.

But back to the Akashic Records. They emerge from the Cosmic Sea of the final element Oganesson, the noble gas. The emerge from the Cosmic Womb and Gaia emerged first. Then the life upon her emerged. Life has evolved through several great cycles and now we have made it to another great cycle. Look around you. What you see is what the Akashic Records have written for you! Do you like what you see? If you don’t you need to do something about it. The circumstances that currently surround each one of us individually are in the process of crystallizing. The new balance has been struck and both the beginning and ending of this new great age have been written. It is up to us the write the middle chapters!

The Akashic Records is the world that our etheric double lives in. It is the Summerland. It is the world beneath what we call physical reality!

The Magickal Planes are in the southern hemisphere and extend outward to the hydrogen levels as well as reaching inwards to Gaia’s core. These of course have a manifesting or focusing quality and attempt to flush everything down the drain so to speak into physical manifestation. Remember both the Spiritual Planes and Magickal Planes are swirling around the Akashic Records at the equator which is the only thing that can manifest or has already manifested because it is balanced.

In practical terms this means that whatever is closest to physical reality and the most probable is what will likely happen. Or put another way, whatever is closest to what currently exists within the Akashic Record is what is most likely to happen. Ordinarily things don’t just magickally appear out of nowhere. Magick works with whatever has already manifested. That is why the old saying, “Possession is nine tenths of the law!”

So in the Magickal planes the idea is let’s get everything out of here! The heaviest stuff at the bottom goes first and anything that can find a match with the Spiritual Planes goes! It is kind of like throwing everything you have at the wall and seeing what sticks! You wanted a red corvette, it gives you a red Volkswagen! Well, at least it is red! So if you really want that red corvette you have to grab onto it in the higher or outer most levels and ride it on down not letting go of it. That means it might stay in the higher levels for awhile because there might not be any opportunities for a red corvette that are available right now. But if you hang in there you will be gradually drawn to one. It might be an older model or it might need repair or it might be just what you are looking for.

Remember that for something to physically manifest it needs its complement or opposite from the Spiritual Planes! So during the lunar cycle right before and after the full moon your dreaming astral self is working in the Magickal Planes trying to arrange that red corvette for you. Then during the other half of the lunar cycle your dreaming astral self is working in the Spiritual Planes trying to bring that red corvette to you as well.

The problem is that the astral resists change and will likely just absorb your energy and disperse it elsewhere. That is why the ability to rupture the astral fabric is so important! This is when “Possession is nine tenths of the law” is no longer valid because the astral fabric has ruptured and will put itself back together again in the most balanced way possible.

Many people that work magick believe in doing one spell and then letting things go. My own belief is that the Astral fabric resets itself twice a day so every single day you can be putting energy out there to bring that red corvette to you! This means rupturing the astral fabric in the Spiritual Planes and the Magickal Planes during the entire lunar cycle!

The greatest difficulty with magick is that most people don’t generate enough energy to make it work!
