We enter into this lifetime with plans and goals that we want to achieve. Sometimes we reach our goals and other times we don’t. This particular lifetime is very special because Gaia and all life upon her are going through an ascension into a higher vibratory existence. Light workers have spent the past several years trying to raise humanity’s vibrations so that as many people as possible can ascend to a new level of conscious awareness.

There are many old souls here on Gaia at this time and I’m one of them. I’ve experienced many lifetimes here and have learned to love Gaia and all her life forms. I’m one of the fallen ones that has finally found their way back to the light and this time is a graduation for me as well as for Gaia. We celebrate together!

The symbol I have  posted at the top of this post belongs to me. It is the symbol of the Spiritual Order to which my soul belongs. I have the authority to use it as I have for countless lifetimes. I share it as a sign that my work is finished!

Over the past few months I have shared in my posts the entire western mystery tradition of this Order as I understand it and as it has been passed down to me through the ages. These teachings are ancient, yet powerful and I share them freely, openly and without reservation of any kind. They are the teachings that will guide this next great cycle of human evolution. Take from them what you will and leave the rest.

This was my great burden in the lifetime and I now consider it done! I am released!

Hermetic Rosicrucianism

Today we are going to talk about the hermetic tradition and Rosicrucianism. I’ve been trying to trace Organic Gnosticism through the centuries and we made it to the 13th and 14th centuries and then hit a big mess because that’s where it seemed like everything was happening.

One of the things that we have not really talked about is the hermetic tradition, which is related to alchemy and to the Rosicrucian’s. What I’m interested in is what I call Organic Gnosticism, which is soul development through a combination of mysticism and tantrism.

Traditionally, 1378 is the birth date of Christian Rosenkreutz who was the founder of the Rosicrucian order. That was the 14th century, and there was a whole grouping of alchemists alive at that time.

In the 15th century, we see Martin Luther as one of the main figures. Now I’m a Rosicrucian elder. That’s my spiritual school which my soul has found again and again lifetime after lifetime.

I spent over 22 years in the Rosicrucian Order AMORC and according to the first Imperator H Spencer Lewis, Martin Luther was the Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order in Germany during his lifetime. This would place the Rosicrucians in the 15th century. His coat of arms had a cross with a garland of roses in the middle which was highly symbolic for Rosicrucians.

From there the Rosicrucian movement seems to go to England to Sir Francis Bacon in the 16th and 17th centuries. That’s when the first Rosicrucian manifestoes came out in 1616. But it’s also a time of Rosicrucian writers and hermetic writers such as Jakob Boehme, Robert Fludd and Elias Ashmore.

These are well-known names and we want to just throw them out there. But I am saying that the teachings I received had this Rosicrucian movement beginning in Germany with Martin Luther and the Protestant revolution.

Sir Francis Bacon began Freemasonry as a social experiment, especially high-grade Freemasonry in the 17th century according to the teachings that I received through the Rosicrucian Order. Freemasonry continues on into the present day.

Freemasonry exploded and soon there were all kinds of masonic lodges and teachings all over the world. John Yarker tried to unite a lot of these teachings into his own masonic order which became known as the Rite Of Memphis and Mizraim.

Albert Pike was another prominent Freemason who created the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. These men were in conflict with each other. The Scottish Rite was Kabbalistic in nature and the Rite of Memphis and Mizraim was not.

I find it interesting that even though I studied the Scottish Rite and the writings of Albert Pike I was never initiated into the Scottish Rite. I have been initiated into the York rite of Freemasonry, the Rosicrucian Order AMORC, the Traditional Martinist Order and even the OTO of Aleister Crowley.

So my own lineage follows that of John Yarker. Theodore Reuss inherited John Yarker’s position as head of this branch of Freemasonry and of course Aleister Crowley continued the OTO after the death of Theodore Reuss. But Crowley’s teaching were Kabbalistic!

Crowley’s OTO involved the development of the soul and its powers under a Kabbalistic framework and included the secrets of sex magic.

There seem to be three threads that come out of ancient Rosicrucianism.

H Spencer Lewis and the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, which I am an elder in also came out of John Yarker’s school. Both Aleister Crowley and H Spencer Lewis were initiates of the rites of Memphis and Mizraim.

Something else I find interesting is that the OTO continues with the Gnostic Catholic Church which Papus created. But but the Rosicrucian Order AMORC continues with the Traditional Martinist Order which Papus was the head of.

The Rosicrucian Order AMORC is very intent on mystical Christianity and the path of mysticism which leads to the development of Cosmic Consciousness. The OTO is more interested in combining magical and mystical paths together in a Kabbalistic framework.

I discovered a third branch that was previously unknown through my translation work of Hanns Heinz Ewers and Stanislaw Przybyszewski. I call this third branch Organic Gnosticism. This was the development of the soul and its powers through love relationships and tantric practices. It was also known as German Satanism.

Both Przybyszewski and Ewers show the same dark current or black current of sexual energy in their writings that Crowley’s writings have been accused of. I personally believe that it is highly likely that Aleister Crowley was initiated by Ewers in New York during the time they were together there.

Hanns Heinz Ewers had been lecturing about German Satanism [Organic Gnosticism] for approximately 7 to 10 years before he knew Crowley and was well-established. It was widely thought that Ewers was the spiritual successor to Przybyszewski.

Letters exist where Ewers calls Przybyszewski the equivalent of Worthy Master, indicating that they belonged to the same spiritual organization.

Here are a few lines about Przybyszewski’ s funeral.

“He was the author of many publications and a highly successful public speaker. His funeral procession, headed by a four horse carriage with State insignia was 3/4 mile long and included State and Church dignitaries, chancellors of colleges and universities, writers and journalists.”

Anyone that has a funeral procession that large with so many respected people attending was not just some unknown writer!

Assertiveness Training

There is a normal cycle that should be followed in communications: First the speaker brings up a subject. The listener acknowledges by nodding, saying yes or in some manner indicating they are listening. The speaker pauses or stops. The listener gives feedback or acknowledges. Perhaps by rephrasing in their own words. “Is this what you mean?” “I agree.” or “I disagree.”

The speaker acknowledges, listens and gives feedback on the listener’s feedback. “Yes, that is what I was trying to say.” “No, I was really trying to say this.”

When the subject is closed it becomes the listener’s turn to begin a new subject as speaker and the cycle is continued.

Verb Matching
We each process information differently. Some people use visual verbs, some use auditory verbs and some use kinesthetic verbs or feeling verbs. When we use the same type of verbs we feel like we are in tune with each other. Find out what kind of verbs you like to use and learn to use other types as well. Listen to others and learn to match the verbs they are using. It will make the communication better.
Visual: “I see what you mean.”
“It is not very clear to me yet.”

Auditory: “That rings a bell.”
“I hear what you are saying.”
Kinesthetic: “That doesn’t feel right to me.”
“Get a grip on things.”

Obviously phrases like: “I see what you are saying.” are not good practice even though we hear them all the time. We can’t see what someone is saying. We hear what they are saying.

Beginning Conversations/Ending Conversations
As strange as it may sound many of us don’t know how to begin or end conversations. We miss out on making good friends simply by not being able to introduce ourselves. At other times we become trapped in conversations that we don’t want.
Practice beginning conversations and ending conversations with a partner until it becomes natural and smooth. Better yet practice all of these skills and keep them handy just in case you need them.
“Hello, my name is…”
“Hello, may I help you?”
“I would really like to hear more later when I have time.”
“Can we talk again sometime?”
Forcing Conversations/Avoiding Conversations
With a partner take turns playing each role and have some fun with it. One of you try to force the conversation and the other try to avoid it. See who wins and why.

“Excuse me. I need to talk to you for a minute.”
“Hey you in the red shirt.”

“I don’t have time right now.”
“I’m busy right now, perhaps we can talk later.”

Changing the subject/Returning to the subject.
This is perhaps the most powerful technique available. Learn how to change the subject to one that you want. When someone avoids talking about your subject keep returning to it. Most people talk in a random manner with one unrelated thought leading into another.
Random association is the rule. By deliberately choosing the subject you control the conversation.
“Don’t you have a car like that one?”
“But what about …”
“I don’t see what this has to do with …”
“Weren’t we talking about …”

Interrupting the conversation/not being interrupted.
Practice these with someone until you get good at them and see how fun communication can be.
“Excuse me, I have a 2:00 appointment.”
“I’ve got to go to the bathroom.”
“Let me finish what I’m trying to say first.”
“This will only take a minute.”

Expressing Joy/Dealing with joy
“I’m so happy I could scream!”
“We could have so much fun!”
“Let’s do it!”
“You look really great today.”

Expressing Sadness/dealing with sadness
“My car just broke down and I don’t know how to get home.”
“I just can’t seem to stop crying.”
“Here’s a Kleenex.”
“Do you have anyone to talk to?”

Expressing Anger/Dealing with Anger
“I’m warning you.”
“I’ve about had it with the people around here.”
“What are you so mad about?”
“Did I do something to offend you?”

I’ve given some sample ideas to get your thoughts moving. Practice some of these with a partner and get good enough at them to use them in conversations at will. Each one will be a valuable tool that you can take with you. It will be there when you need it.

When we see a person at work or on the street do we know if they act that way at home? Do we always know how our kids act away from home? Do we act differently at home and when we are away from home?
Each individual is very complex with many hobbies, interests and life experiences. Even if we know someone very well we can still be surprised at the things they do.
We use the limited knowledge that we have about people and form images or stereotypes. We use these images to help us understand and deal with every person in our lives. Because of these images or stereotypes we are sometimes surprised when people don’t respond the way we are expecting them to.
We may even need to re-evaluate others and treat them differently as we learn more about them. One of the most powerful ways to achieve our goals and to experience the things we want in life is to act, dress and live in a manner that will create the image or stereotype appropriate for achieving our goals.
Through repeated exposure to the image we are projecting others will stereotype us in a manner that is consistent with our goals and treat us the way we want to be treated. When people don’t recognize the image we project the will create one of their own and we probably won’t like it.
Who wants to be labeled as a loser or a freak? We have to give people clues about how we want to be treated. First we create a general image or stereotype that is recognizable to others. Then we can create a sub-category that is unique and individual that reveals more of our true inner self.
We must be true to the stereotype that we project and at the same time be true to ourselves. Remember an image or stereotype tends toward self-fulfillment because everyone else constantly reinforces it. It is up to us to choose what we want to be in life.

Body Language
Body language communicates far more than we ever do with words. Some estimate that as much as 90% of all communication is non-verbal. Anyone interested in true self-empowerment should have a basic understanding of their own body language and the body language of others.
Here are some simple things to notice when you are around other people.

Are the legs crossed? (Is there tension?)
Preening-patting hair, smoothing shirt or dress, straightening tie. Constant movement-can’t sit still, ill at ease, is not giving you their full attention.
Hand movements-what are the hands doing, clenched or open, in pockets or hidden.
Nervous movements-tapping pencil, moving leg.
Movement toward or away from you.
Arms crossed on chest.
Ankles locked.
Relaxed or tense.

These simple things will tell you a lot about a person and what is going on with them. We learn by doing. Practice some of these things with a partner to see how they feel. Take turns doing each position and become aware of how they make you feel. What things are uncomfortable? Are they things you can’t do?

Eye Contact/No eye contact
One person tries to maintain eye contact and the other person tries to avoid eye contact while having a conversation.

Hand Shake
Firm handshake
Finger handshake
Two-handed hand shake
Limp handshake

Slumped shoulders/Erect posture
One person tries to maintain a slumped posture while talking and the other an erect posture.

Proximity Boundary/Too Close
One person moves in too close to the other person deliberately while talking. Some people find this very disturbing.

Proximity Boundary/Too far away
One person moves too far away from the other person deliberately while they are talking. See if the other person moves closer.

Standing/Sitting at desk
One person is standing and the other is sitting behind a desk.

Standing/Sitting
One person is standing and the other remains sitting in a chair.

Turned Away
One person remains turned 45 degrees away from the other person while talking.

The object of these exercises is self-discovery. Learn how they make you feel and learn how they make others feel. Practice them and use them consciously and deliberately to be more effective in your communications with others.

The Will to live
There is an instinct or primal will to live deep within each one of us. It is the collective will of the human species to survive into the future, to grow and to expand. There is something within us that wants the human race to be alive billions of years into the future when our sun goes nova or dies out. There is something within us that wants the human race to explore the stars, build cities beneath the oceans and on top of the highest mountains.
This something wants us to go ever onward in the face of overwhelming opposition. This is the force that we need to tap into when we wish to assert ourselves in life. We need to believe in both the human race and in ourselves and in our right to live the type of life we each desire.
Assertiveness is the taking back of personal power. We choose to create the type of world we want to live in and we believe in our ability to make a difference.

Manipulation Traps
Manipulation traps are unfair ways we try to take advantage of personal relationships and force people into giving us what we desire. Understanding manipulation traps and how to avoid them is vital in reclaiming our personal power and being assertive.

Guilt
“How can you treat me like that?”
“I’ve been waiting all week for you to call.”
“It’s your fault that I’m upset and can’t get to sleep.”

Making someone feel guilty is a common manipulation technique. It weakens and destroys a person’s self-esteem. No matter how upset you are with someone or their behavior you don’t need to make them feel guilt. There is no reason someone should make you feel guilty. Guilt destroys our sense of who we are.
Instead of making a person feel guilty focus on the behaviors instead.
“I don’t like it when you treat me like that.”
“I have been hoping to hear from you all week.”
“Our argument got me upset and I can’t sleep.”

These responses communicate the same feelings or information without making the other person feel guilty. When a person feels guilty they feel attacked and hurt. They are also put on the defensive and may fight back in self-defense.

Anger
Yelling and intimidation to your face. Unfortunately making a scene in public does work for many people. I’ve seen a Lt. Col. Plead with an outraged Sgt. asking her to calm down and stop yelling.
Being considerate and respectful is expected public behavior. People that yell and throw temper tantrums to get their own way are deliberately being rude and disrespectful to cause discomfort. It makes people back down simply because they are uncomfortable.
This is unfair. You can not let someone get their way by intimidation. Once you give in they will constantly take advantage of you in the future.

Criticism/Insecurity
You don’t want to play bingo. Your spouse accuses you of never wanting to do what he or she wants to do. You go play bingo. This is a variant of the guilt trip manipulation. Compromise is an important part of any relationship.
“If we go to bingo this week can we go bowling next week?”

Obligation
If I do this for him, he’ll have to do something for me.
“Here is a free sample; can I have a minute of your time?”

In my mind this is one of the worst manipulation traps. Someone does something for us that we are not asking for or perhaps even expecting and they demand some type of payment or response for what they have done.

“Well I do all the cooking and cleaning around here. The least you can do is take out the garbage.”

The problem is that solutions are not negotiated. Everything is one way, the way the manipulator desires.
What is wrong with:
“I’m going to do the cooking. What are you going to do to help?”
“Can we take turns cooking and cleaning?”

Give the other person a chance to take part in the decision making process. Let their opinions count and their feelings be heard.

Withholding
“If you do that I’ll never talk to you again.”
“If you are going to do that you might as well never come back.”

These are obvious strong-arm tactics to get what you want at any cost. You have raised the stakes so high that there is no negotiation or discussion at all. This is totally one way and grossly unfair. Such extremist behavior can not allow relationships to grow.

Helplessness
“You’re the only one that can help me.”
“How do you expect me to wash the dishes and still get my homework done?”

Pretending to be helpless when you are not is all too easy. At first people are willing to help but later this behavior builds deep resentments and may even cause people to avoid you. Learning to do things and becoming competent is one of the greatest joys in life even if it is hard at times.

“Will you show me how to do this?” is a lot better.
Hurtful Teasing
“That looks like you.”
“You must be related.” (The idea is that the teasing hits too close to home and is hurtful not playful.)

Questions
“Why did you stop at the bar last night?” (You already know the answer but just want to watch him or her squirm and try to get out of it.)

Double bind
“Are you still driving that old wreck?”
“Have you stopped beating your wife yet?”

This manipulation can be very frustrating because either way you answer the question puts you in a bad light. This is the kind of manipulation that makes people look like fools and no one likes that.

Solutions
Manipulation traps are not fair. There are healthy ways of getting your needs met within relationships. They are win-win solutions that allow personal growth and respect for each other at all times. Instead of needing to be in control ensure both of you have choices and that the choices are mutual.
One person can not be making all of the choices in a healthy relationship. All to often the helpless manipulation comes up. Teach each other how to cook a meal, clean the bathroom, start the lawn mower, and check the oil.
Allow each other to become successful in more areas and take joy in their successes. Getting even is a form of revenge. It doesn’t belong in relationships. Replace getting even with justice and fairness. When things are unfair talk about them and find solutions that work for both of you.

Antidotes to manipulation traps

Repeat Technique
Ignore trap and repeat what you want in a calm voice until they give up. This may take 4 or 5 repetitions. Don’t get drawn into the trap. Stay focused and repeat the same words. They understand, you don’t need to say it several ways.

I Statement
Without putting yourself down or apologizing state what it is that you want.
“I want to stay at my current job. I don’t want to move closer to your parents.”

Clouding
Respond calmly, acknowledge there may be some truth yet you still will continue to do what you believe is best. Don’t apologize-continue to do what you want.
“I understand that I could find a better paying job. I like the one I have. Money is not everything that is important to me.”

Negative Declarations
Ask questions about the problem until the complaints are exhausted. Admit a mistake or fault without apologizing for it.
“I said I would take out the garbage and I forgot. I will do it as soon as I am done with the paper. Is there anything else you are angry about?”

Compromise without loss of self-respect
Relationships are two way things. Both people have needs to be met and they are not always the same needs. It is important to finds ways to be supportive of each other’s needs and allow compromises when needed. At times it is important to give in as well. Which is more important that tie or the relationship?

Side tracking
changing the subject to something more interesting. This is a lot easier to do than most people would think.
“Is that your dog?” or “I need to go to the bathroom.” can derail most unpleasant discussions.

Gaia Ascension Update 12/12 The Last Jedi

It was actually Monday morning when I had a strange dream of two wooden wheelbarrows that I pushed up next to each other. I had no idea what was symbolic about the dream but I figured that wooden wheel barrows had something to do with Organic Gnosticism and my work. I had saved up some Steem tokens and was getting them converted so I could start an Organic Gnosticism discussion group on Steemit. (I already have an Organic Gnosticism discussion group on Facebook)

So I figured that was what the dream was about, transferring the Steem currency and starting another Organic Gnosticism forum. But when I got home I found out that the conversion rate sucked and my 10 Steem dollars only converted to something like 5.8 Steem and I needed exactly 10 to create a forum. I was annoyed and frustrated. I was blocked. What had my dream been about anyway? There was something that I needed to do. What was it?

Now my intention was to share and mingle with more people in a relaxed but meaningful way. I need more social time around people because I spend too much time alone. I had joined a local singles group in the hopes of socializing with them but the three times I forced myself to go to the bar where they were meeting for a weekly dance I literally couldn’t force myself to go up to introduce myself to the group. Something was stopping me.

In contrast last Saturday I went to a local Eckankar meeting held at the local library. This group met once every two months but it was a spiritual group that talked about dreams and sang “Huuuuuu!” It was a powerful experience that I really enjoyed and I was sharing it with other people like myself. I asked to be put on the mailing list so that I would know when the next meeting was. There was a sign up sheet and they also said they had a listing on Meetup. That evening I went online to check out local Meetup groups and there were none of interest except the Ekankar one. I suddenly had the deep realization that I wanted to be around light workers, not drunks.

Suddenly the impulse came to create my own Meetup group and I did! It was a Gaia Ascension and Light worker Meetup group that is to meet twice a month. I scheduled the first meeting for this coming Sunday. That night was the 12/12 portal and there was so much energy flowing through my body that I woke up several times totally surrounded in it. I had obviously unleashed some very powerful energies by my actions. Astral energies were flowing into the physical and energizing a new timeline for me, one that involved my new Meetup group.

At the same time my numerous blog posts about Organic Gnosticism are reaching an end. There are only a few to go. Energetically what happened was my posts were sending energy out into the astral to whoever was reading them and a point was reached where my own energies were finally coming back to me in the form of this Meetup group! My actions of posting about Organic Gnosticism online created the energy to open a timeline for something on the physical plane that was local. It was a physical manifestation of the new energies.

Tonight I see that at least two people have responded that they will be showing up! There is immense energy surrounding this! I would like to add that this is often how the energy works within the astral planes. Tension is built up until something has to manifest physically. I was open enough to be directed in the right way to the Meetup group and not to the bar crowd. It is letting the energy choose the proper place and time and the proper direction instead of using the will. Trust in the heart and things will work out the way they should!

So that was my 12/12 portal event.

Gaia’s ascension is reaching a climax and it will hit this weekend as millions of people rush out to see the new Star Wars movie, “The Last Jedi”. All of the Star Wars movies have been timed to correspond with ascension energetics of mass consciousness. This will be no exception! This is the anticipated trigger event that will ring out through the winter solstice and trigger the masses in a good way! The ascension energies are tipping over into the physical.

Over the past few months I have posted my complete understanding of the western mystery traditions in a way suitable for the modern mind to understand and accept. I sense that as the culmination of my life’s work, the reason I came into this life time was to share as much as I could in this ascension climax. Organic Gnosticism is a viable tradition that has survived in one form or another in all times and places. Now it exists today in the minds and hearts of those I have touched. That work is done.

I will still be posting but it will be a lot less and it will be more personal or even more of my translation work which I love. No more teachings. The energy is basically done for that.

Solar Cycle

The mystery of the solar cycle is closely aligned with that of the lunar cycle and astrology. Perhaps it is best understood by reflecting upon the lunar cycle and it’s action of alternately expanding and compressing the earth’s astral layers.

There are eight important points in the lunar cycle. These are the new moon, 1st quarter, full moon, 3rd quarter, and the midpoints between these four when the astral layers merge together.

In like manner there are eight important points in the solar cycle. These are Spring equinox, Summer solstice, Autumn equinox, Winter solstice and the four midpoints, Beltane, lugnasadh, Samhain, and Candlemas.

In terms of the science of astrology we would call these positions respectively conjunction, upper square, opposition, lower square and the 45 degree aspects. It is interesting that the 45 degree aspect is considered the most powerful in terms of energy flow. This is because it reflects the time when the astral layers merge together.

Consideration of the gravitational effect of other planets upon the earth’s astral layers could indicate a minor influence at these particular points. The main forces would be those of the sun and the moon. These are the influences that O. A. K. considers the most important since a Magister Templi should have risen above other planetary or astrological influences.

Comparison of these eight points shows that each part of the solar cycle corresponds to a particular astral activity much as the lunar cycle does but on a larger scale.

As a cycle it may be arbitrary where to say the cycle begins and ends since it just repeats over and over again. Still it serves a purpose to have a definite starting point and ending point for discussion purposes. Because nature is eternally in balance it seems natural to pick one of the equinoxes for the starting point because the hours of daylight and darkness are equal then. The next consideration is that astral development usually precedes physical development so our choice as a starting point becomes the Autumn equinox.

The new solar cycle begins immediately after the physical harvest as the hours of daylight begin to lessen. This means that the critical and key events of the entire year until the next autumn equinox have at this time been firmly embedded within the fixed etheric levels of the Magical planes and those events will happen to us. From this point in time we are working to create the events of the after the one just about to begin, which is just less than two years away. All references to the coming year mean the year starting immediately after the next Autumn equinox.

One final note on the alchemical stages described below. It is quite possible that a person will find themselves going through one stage in terms of one part of their life and a different stage dealing with another aspect of their life. Thus in personal relationships they may be going through the lesser stages but in work they may be going through the after stages. Life is cyclical with no point where it is all finished except perhaps at death.

FESTIVAL OF PEACE

Samhain is the mid point between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice and corresponds to the ACE cards in the Tarot deck. It is also related to the Festival of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady which is the final resolution of the Magical planes immediately before the winter solstice.

This period is the end of the fruiting cycle in nature and the end of autumn. It also marks the beginning of winter in terms of snow and freezing weather.

The astral activity is still on the Magical planes as the astral layers merge together. This is a symbolic joining of male and female energies as the old fruit of the past year is given to the earth in total sacrifice. It is the planting of a seed for the coming year. Your actions now determine the direction that the new year will take for you. The key physical events of your life for the current year have already been established and will happen. This final resolution period determines how well you will deal with these upcoming events. Whether they will be seen as opportunities or as difficult burdens that are almost impossible to bear. This determines what your attitude will be like when these things happen in your life this year as physical events.

This time period naturally marks the end of the crucifixion or enthronement period and the beginning of a new birth or resurrection.

In some occult traditions this marks the beginning of the initiation cycle of Earth as the probationer is granted entrance and awaits the first initiation. The Earth cycle is also the last cycle of the initiate so this time also marks the natural last initiation of the advanced initiate into the final mysteries of the Earth. The probationer will experience a new birth and the advanced initiate will experience a resurrection and lifting up as the Magical levels resolve themselves during this period concerning the projected events of the coming year.

FESTIVAL OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF OUR LADY

This is the time of year when those energies within the Magical planes have resolved themselves into the physical events, attitudes, and experiences for the year that we are currently experiencing leading up to the next Autumn equinox. Those events have been placed within the fixed etheric portions of the Magical planes for the year just beginning. All other energies that could not find resolution into physical events will at this time flood upward into the Spiritual planes as seed activities or events for the coming year almost two years away. They will mix with other potential events that they have affinity with as fringe activities.

In a sense it is a continuation of the merging of the levels beginning with the Festival of Peace but it continues that movement as an astral flow out of the Magical planes and into the Spiritual planes. It is marked by the new moon preceding the winter solstice.

This corresponds to the TWO cards in the Tarot.

FESTIVAL OF REBIRTH

Christmas is the winter solstice and marks the middle of winter weather and officially the beginning of winter proper as the hours of daylight begin to increase. This is the shortest day of the year. It is the middle of the germination cycle in nature and the middle of the Earth initiation.

This corresponds with the THREE cards of the Tarot and the concept of the Trinity.

The new moon preceding this period marked the resolution of astral events within the Magical planes and all unresolvable energies at that time flowed upward into the Spiritual planes to the corresponding level to be recycled. All astral activity now deals with our future long range plans for our entire lifetime and beyond.

These energies that have flowed upward from the Magical planes are seeds that we have planted for future growth and harvest after they have been recycled.

At the time of the winter solstice there is a great in pouring of spiritual love and light into the earth’s Spiritual planes. It is said that at this time God/dess sends love and light into the world for all those that will receive it. This influx of spiritual light will work its way downward through all the astral levels during the coming year.

Our astral creations in the Spiritual planes act as containers that collect and hold this energy. We are at this time each given love and light energy according to our individual capacity to hold it. This represents our major chance during the year to fill ourselves to overflowing with this energy. Our astral creations as seeds are vitalized with this spiritual energy and we experience the birth of the Christ Spirit within our soul.

There is forced growth and expansion on the individual Spiritual planes as this energy enters into us and forces the resolution of other energies one level at a time from the top downward. The levels do not merge but remain separate. Astral events are forced to merge with each other or be destroyed through this forced growth. Society is forced to accept our long range plans for our life or to destroy it. If our astral creations survive they will become critical and key points during our life time and must be allowed to happen as physical events.

It is from these astral events that we gain a full realization and experiential knowledge of what our life’s work will be. It is at this time that we can achieve this full illumination of what our true destiny will be. This is a continuation of the rebirth or resurrection process that was begun during THE FESTIVAL OF PEACE. It is the middle of the Earth initiation where the probationer prepares for the coming initiation and the advanced initiate experiences the birth of the Christ Spirit within his or her soul.

There are three stages of alchemical work that correspond to this time of year.

LESSER STAGE

This is the stage of calcination where our hopes, dreams, and inspirations are consumed in fire and burned to ashes. Our astral creations have no connection to reality and can’t possibly ever become physical so they are destroyed at this time. The Christmas season is a very bitter one for a lot of people that are experiencing life at this stage.

GREATER STAGE

During this stage we experience the coagulation and crystallization of our hopes, dreams, and inspirations. In a burst of insight and realization we understand what it is that we must do in our lives to continue our spiritual development. Death leads to life and a star is born. This is the classic Christmas story about how the Christmas Spirit can perform miracles in our lives by changing the way that we look at things. Our physical circumstances may remain the same but now we have understanding and our life becomes more meaningful.

AFTER STAGE

After the Great Work is accomplished this time of year brings exaltation, elation, joy, knowledge, and a lifting up as we experience the resurrection within our lives. We become living proof that the spiritual path is a valid one that will bring tangible rewards in our lives. We are lifted out of our problems through the action of the Christmas miracle in our lives. We experience the miraculous and our physical lives are totally turned around as are our physical circumstances.

THE FESTIVAL OF DEDICATION

Candlemas or Imbolc marks the midpoint between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. In nature it marks the end of wintry weather and the beginning of the leafing season. The Earth cycle of initiation is finished and the Water cycle of initiation is about to begin. This time of the year corresponds to the FOUR cards of the Tarot.

During this time the Spirit planes merge together moving from the top downward and resolving each level at a time. For those prepared for it this action comes as a spiritual “baptism” of the Christ Spirit and an intense realization of this Christ Spirit in our lives. It has been determined in the Spiritual planes through the resolution of forces which individuals are key persons in humanities future evolution and this Christ Spirit descends upon them and empowers their personal efforts for the coming year. It also empowers at this time the critical events of the coming year.

This is at times also known as the Purification of the Blessed Virgin and also marks the beginning of the Ascension for those that are ready and prepared for it.

The probationer is now ready to receive the first initiation which is that of Water. This is the beginning of the initiation of Water. It also marks the end of the advanced initiate’s Earth initiation.

It is the symbolic joining of male and female energies and in nature is a time of green sprouting and rapid growth.

THE FESTIVAL OF PROMISE

This time of the year is the Spring equinox and is also linked to the following full moon and Easter. It corresponds to the FIVE cards in the Tarot. It is the official beginning of Spring but also the middle of the leafing season and the middle of the Water initiation.

All of the levels of the Spirit planes experience forced growth and expansion to full size at this time. Our spiritual “baptism” or Ascension begun in the Festival of Dedication continues and that spiritual energy given us forces our long range goals into view. At this time we are given great visions of our future and hope that we may achieve our desires. Society is forced to accept our future plans and alter itself accordingly level by individual level.

Being granted a clear vision of our future inspires us to begin our spiritual quest in earnest. We start by learning to master our emotions and our love. There are three alchemical stages that correspond naturally to this time of the year.

LESSER STAGE

This is the alchemical stage of Solution where the ashes are dissolved into a liquid form by the addition of this spiritual energy. The missing details and hidden aspects of our future life are filled in so that it becomes capable of becoming physical reality. Our wishes, dreams, and inspirations are brought into awareness and we struggle to discover some way of making them realistic. We do this with the help of the spiritual energy that we have received.

GREATER STAGE

At this stage our wishes, dreams, and inspirations are seen as potential parts of humanities and our own future. We nourish and feed these astral creations with our love. They grow more and more glorious as they develop and move downward into the fixed etheric regions of the Spiritual planes. These begin to take the final forms that they will have in physical reality.

AFTER STAGE

This is the stage of multiplication and propagation. In the Spiritual planes our life’s work is fully created and set out before us. Now the implications of that life’s work begin to show up as our future life acts as an anchor point and catalyst for key events in humanity’s future. Ripples of influence spread out in all directions in a willingly creative act that multiplies itself and it’s love. The act of giving love multiplies that love and increases its fire. Astral events have reached a point where the momentum has built up enough to be self- sustaining.

THE FESTIVAL OF UNIFICATION

Beltane marks the midpoint between the Spring equinox and the Summer solstice. It signals the end of the leafing season in nature and the beginning of the flowering season. It also marks the end of the Water initiation and the beginning of the Air initiation. This time of year corresponds to the SIX card of the Tarot.

The astral levels are merging during this time on the Spiritual planes. Our “baptism” or Ascension is at an end and our future is secured. As the levels merge there is an outpouring of love upon the entire world. They merge from the top downward and the resolution of these energies acts as a spiritual blessing on those whose life is affected in their downward movement. These Key events cast ripples of cause and effect onto the entire world. It marks the beginning of the Transfiguration or the Unification on our lives if we are prepared for it.

This is a symbolic joining of male and female energies in a spiritual marriage of unity, fertilization, and blessing. Nature rejoices in a flowering growth as life matures and comes of age. Everything holds a promise of the bright future that lies ahead.

The key events of our lives for the coming year are at this time embedded in the fixed etheric levels of the Spiritual planes and the energy within them reaches a climax during the following full moon known as the Christ Festival as that energy rushes downward into the corresponding astral events within the Magical planes. This energy is preparing those key events in advance and happens before astral activity in the Magical planes is fully operational. These key events get a head start to ensure that they will come into being as physical events.

FESTIVAL OF JOY

The Summer solstice marks the middle of the flowering season and the middle of the Air initiation. While the official beginning of summer it is also the longest day of the year and marks the shortening of daylight hours. This time corresponds to the EIGHT cards of the Tarot.

The Christ Festival of the full moon immediately preceding this corresponds to the SEVEN cards of the Tarot. At that time key events and individuals in the Magical planes received a down pouring of spiritual energy from the Spiritual planes to ensure that they would become physical reality.

Now at the time of the Summer solstice all astral activity takes place on the Magical planes. There is forced expansion at all levels of the Magical planes to ensure that the harvest will be complete. In nature the flowers mature at their full size.

From a spiritual perspective this is the time when light pours into the minds of men and they are able to perceive clearly and understand truly. They are given illuminations and clear vision concerning the important affairs in their lives.

There are three alchemical stages that correspond to this time of year.

LESSER STAGE

This is the stage of separation and distillation. The process of analysis and extraction divides the subtle from the gross and we can see for the first time the unrealistic aspects of our hopes, wishes, and dreams. We can see what we are doing wrong and also what we are doing right. We gain personal understandings of ourselves that helps us to be more effective.

GREATER STAGE

Here is the stage of sublimation and vaporizing. Here we attempt to transform our lives into something higher and more refined. We receive illuminations and new insights that transfigure our understanding and we see things in a new way. We gain understanding of what we must do to achieve the things we want in life.

AFTER STAGE

This is the alchemical stage of projection and the proving of the perfect. Here we have become a catalyst to others. By casting forth our light or wisdom into the world we transmute all that we touch into spiritual gold. By being ourselves we help others to progress on the spiritual path.

FESTIVAL OF TRANSFORMATION

Lugnasadh marks the mid point between the Summer solstice and the Autumn equinox. In nature it is the end of the flowering season and the beginning of the fruiting season. In like manner it marks the end of the Air initiation and the beginning of the Fire initiation. It corresponds with the NINE cards of the Tarot.

It is at this point that the levels of the Magical planes begin to merge together from the top downward. The resolution of each level will bring about the final physical harvest at it’s conclusion. We also receive the first fruits of our labors at this time. The final events of the coming year beginning with the nearby Autumn equinox are at this time being resolved through our actions. We are impelled at this time to do those things that are physically important to us in the astral creation of our future life beginning with the next Autumn equinox that is fast approaching. We are rushing to finalize the important and critical events before it is too late to change them.

This is the symbolic joining of male and female energies that leads to the crowning with the Christ Light of the Initiate and Priest-King. This brings also the astral creation on the Magical planes of the Priest-King’s entire future life time. The key events of the entire life have with this crowning entered into the Magical planes to gradually find their way into physical manifestation as well as the key events for the coming year. At this time the Priest-King’s life is surrendered in service to those that recognize him.

FESTIVAL OF CONSUMMATION

This relates to the TEN cards in the Tarot deck. This is the Solar Festival of Consummation and a full harvest of what has gone before. Here we achieve the natural results of our labor for the past year. The seeds we have planted have given the full physical results and we receive that which we have earned. This time brings us either crucifixion or enthronement. There are no more alterations of this years coming events. They are now permanently set within the fixed etheric levels of the Magical planes and programmed to become physical reality throughout the year. Instead the focus is now once more upon the year after this one, the one that is almost two years away.

This time period is linked to the first full moon after the equinox and involves a forced expansion on all levels of the Magical planes. At this time the Magical planes are swelling with energy as all true initiates use this energy as a light for others. This is where spiritual understanding is put into action to achieve physical results.

In occult traditions this is the time of year when the initiation into the mysteries of fire takes place. There are three stages of the alchemical process that naturally occur during this time of year.

LESSER STAGE

This is the alchemical stage of conjunction and putrefaction. This is where high spiritual expectations merge forcefully with physical reality and die because they are not realistic. This energetic union between subtle and gross is called the Chymical Wedding. The resulting death of ideals as they rot into blackness create what is known as the FIRST MATTER.

GREATER STAGE

This is the stage of fermentation and leavening. Here there is a general stirring up and excitation that enters into our lives. We attempt to put our thoughts into action to achieve physical results. We try to give service and help others to grow spiritually. This is also where we experience the creation of the”soul body” when we are ready for that experience.

AFTER STAGE

This is when we naturally experience the physical harvest, the completion, glorification, and Sabbath of the Great Work. This reflects the causal link between the astral and physical reality made manifest for the first time in our lives as physical results.

Freedom Or Self Defeat

I think we all know what self-defeat is. It is when we persist in doing something that not only is not working but can not work or will not work in the future. We are so personally invested in the situation that we refuse to cut our losses and free our selves. We remain in denial about the situation and never move forward.

This can be about jobs, relationships, money or even health issues. Currently it’s about my truck. I’ve been refusing to believe that it needs to be replaced even after I’ve been stranded with it four times in the last two weeks. The mechanic says the truck is not worth fixing and I’m in a tight spot. I need to listen and I need to move forward. If I had been willing to let go of the truck as soon as it started giving me trouble I could have saved myself almost $400. Now it’s too late for that. I put money into it that I shouldn’t have. It still won’t run and never will.

Sound familiar? I’m sure something like this happens to everyone sooner or later. Perhaps the better question is why? Why do we stay on the boat until it is sinking? Does some misplaced loyalty demand we go down with the ship?

My first marriage was the same way. I would never have left if she hadn’t. I would have put up with pure hell for the rest of my life just to do the “right thing” for my children. It turns out that getting a divorce was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. Still I was forced into it. It was not something I would have done on my own.

How can we choose freedom from self-defeat? I don’t have a good answer. Maybe there isn’t one. What I can say is that if you are putting out tremendous effort and not getting back anything in return something is wrong. That is a big red flag that needs to be paid attention to. It doesn’t matter how emotionally attached or invested we are. If nothing is coming back we need to seriously evaluate the wisdom of continuing the present course of action.

Jobs and employment have always been a weak area in my life. I am a hard worker and often work two jobs to make ends meet. Still, in the past I have always worked at jobs that were physically and emotionally draining to the point where I would not have the energy to do anything on my days off. I’ve also always been drawn to jobs where I was over qualified for the work I was doing.

My wife, Annie told me there are good jobs. She said I didn’t need to put up with high stress and low paying jobs. She did her best to tell me that I was putting up with things I didn’t need to put up with. I like my recent job or rather both of my current jobs even though the pay is modest. I’m good at what I do and respected. I also have good relationships with co-workers. I also have the freedom to do what I love the most, writing on the Internet! This is actually a third job for me.

In the evenings when I get home I have enough energy to do things I want to do. This is a blessing that I had forgotten existed. Life is still hard but I am doing many of the things I love to do. That is the highest freedom of all.

Things may not be entirely the way I would like them but I am certainly moving toward some important goals. I am not currently a victim of self-defeat.

The Lunar Cycle

As the moon circles the earth it alternately compresses and expands the astral layers around the earth.

At the time of the new moon the sun and the moon are in the same part of the sky combining their gravitational forces. This pulls the astral layers as high above the earth’s surface as possible and expands them so they can hold more energy. At this time the maximum amount of light energy from the sun is allowed in to expanded and stretch the astral planes of the earth.

Normally this space is filled by light energy from the sun but it can also be filled with sexual energy from individuals or any other type of energy. In any case, at the time of the new moon the earth’s astral planes are completely filled and can’t hold any more energy of any kind.

Immediately after the new moon the astral layers begin to compress. This continues until the full moon when the sun and the moon are in opposite parts of the sky. At this point the earth’s astral layers have been compressed as much as possible and any excess energy has been forced to become physical actions and events or it has been forced to self-destruct. This is the heart beat of life upon Gaia as it circulates the vital life force among all living things.

Immediately after the full moon the earth’s astral layers begin to expand and draw more energy into them in an almost suction like action. This pulsing action of compression and expansion causes a continuous circulation and flow of energy among the astral creations within the earth’s astral planes, continuously impelling new physical events and new astral events.

Light energy passes through the astral planes and strikes both astral objects as well as physical objects. Light energy is male energy and causes expansion or growth of physical and astral objects by transforming into expansive north magnetic field energy. As the astral planes expand so do the astral objects and beings within the astral planes. They grow individually if possible along with other astral events and become more complex.

During the compression phase these astral beings and events are forced together by the action of the moon.

The earth is completely surrounded by the astral planes but there are actually two astral planes, the outer astral planes are called the Spiritual planes and the inner astral planes are called the Magical planes.

The Spiritual planes involve north pole magnetic field energy and they try to disburse all superfluous astral energy outward into the cosmic leaving only key critical astral events and individuals intact. They form archetypal patterns.

The Magical planes involve south pole magnetic field energy and try to focus astral energy at the lowest possible point as physical events. They form compromise and mutational patterns.

In the occult tradition the outer 118 astral planes of north pole energy are know as the Spiritual planes. The inner 118 astral planes of south pole energy are known as the Magical planes or Qlippothic planes.

This might seem confusing as the Spiritual planes could be considered to be above the equator and the Magical planes could be considered below the equator. In actual practice astral beings and creations exist as balanced male/female or north magnetic/south magnetic energies with one or the other dominant. This is why I choose to think of them as 118 elements each and one within the other, the magical planes within the spiritual planes and closer to the earth. In the long run it doesn’t really matter. I’m describing functions, not scientific specifics. I’m still learning about this myself!

An astral event in the Spiritual planes must combine with its counterpart in the Magical planes before it can become a physical event. Until this happens astral events remain suspended at various levels as potential events in both the spiritual planes and magical planes.

Careful analysis shows that astral events in the Magical planes are potential physical events during the next lunar cycle if they can be matched with their corresponding half in the spiritual planes.

Astral events in the Spiritual planes are long range possibilities. They will not normally happen in the near future.

Immediately after the full moon peak energy is sucked into the lowest part of the Magical planes. For 3 1/2 days the 118 Magical planes fill with energy easily without moving from one level to another. They fill up one layer at a time from the lowest to the highest. Immediately after the full moon the lowest level will fill up, then the next and the next in sequence.

Dream activity will progress upward into the higher levels each night as one level at a time is activated. There will be no crossing from one level into another in these dreams. After that energetic activity is finished it will need to wait another lunar cycle for that particular spot to be activated once more.

On the third night after the full moon your dreams will contain your most difficult potential events for the next month. These dreams represent a gain or a loss for you in important areas of your life. The fact that they are at the highest levels of the Magical planes indicates that they are in conflict with an opposing force and trying to rise above the opposing energies. Dreams with a good outcome at this time indicate that a person is gaining in Magical strength and that the issue is beginning to go in the direction wanted. The event or issue may remain as a potential event but it will have gained in strength.

During the next 3 1/2 days until the first quarter astral creations will pierce through individual layers and move vertically upward from one level to another level making room for other energies, forcing some actions downward into physical events and forcing others to self-destruct. This is a merging of the levels on the Magical plane and energy injected into the lower levels may rise into the upper levels in an effort to strengthen and protect an event on the lower planes. As an example, one may be faced with a personal crisis where they need desperately to find employment. The only type of work available is minimum wage work that is not pleasant at all. But it will be enough to get by until a stronger outcome is possible.

Dreams immediately after the full moon are like trying to scrub a toilet clean or sweep a factory floor. You try hard but it won’t come clean. This is a powerful dream of not having enough personal energy to deal with an immediate crisis. Potentially this next lunar cycle will not be too pleasant for this person but they will get through it.

Now suppose that this person decides to put out massive amounts of physical energy for the next three days in an attempt to ready a book manuscript that is almost completed. He or she works fourteen hours a day getting this manuscript ready to send out. At the time when the astral levels merge, that physical energy will rise up and support the actions concerning the manuscript. It will attack and weaken the negative astral influences that are creating this crisis.

Doing this it will alter the potential future for the next lunar cycle in a positive way. He or she will still need to find employment at a menial type job but it may be more enjoyable than it would have been. Also it may be temporary because the book may be accepted for publication. In this instance physical energy injected into the Magical planes has been able to modify or alter a negative crisis in a defensive manner. It has confronted and destroyed or altered as much of the negative force as possible.

The night before the 3rd quarter your dreams will contain the final result of your most difficult potential events for the month ahead. This will be the summary or resolution of the astral events within the Magical planes for the coming lunar cycle. It will reflect accurately just how these matters now stand astrally. In effect it is here that you say “this is what I want”. If these dreams are positive progress is being made in important areas in your life. If these dreams are negative some problem areas are looming on your personal horizon that you have no control over.

At the exact moment of the 3rd quarter all astral activity moves into the Spiritual planes. The Magical planes are completely filled with light and other types of energy and essentially immobile. In the Spirit planes the cosmic and society determine what actions are required by what people.

Dreams during this period involve societies long range intentions toward you. Here you get a glimpse of whether society intends to help you in your efforts or to hinder you. In my example of the manuscript writer, it would be expected that he or she would have some dreams concerning his or her book during this time of the lunar cycle. A favorable dream would indicate that society intends to help publish this book while an unfavorable dream indicates further obstacles that must be confronted first.

As before the 3 1/2 days after the 3rd quarter will fill the astral layers without transferring activity from one level to another. This will continue in a wave movement from the lowest levels upward to the highest levels. During the last 3 1/2 days the astral creations will pierce individual layers and move from one level to another as the astral levels merge and find new resolutions.

The most intense dreams will occur on the third night after the 3rd quarter and the night before the new moon. These are the nights when the energies fully resolve themselves, first at each level individually and then among all the levels as they merge together.

Perhaps it is wrong to say that the most intense dreams will occur on these nights. What is meant is that if the issue in conflict is almost equal to the oppositional force it will rise to the highest levels before finding resolution. The highest levels find resolution at these times. Each level resolves itself sequentially from the bottom to the top. If the dreamer has a surplus strength and astral energy this resolution may occur as an intense dream earlier and at a lower level.

If a person has opened themselves to the lunar cycle as described in other posts this entire period from the full moon to the new moon has injected light energy directly into his or her astral creations and caused them to expand and gain complexity. It may also have caused some of the more unrealistic ones to self-destruct as they combined with opposing astral creations.

Being open to the lunar cycle also allows a person’s astral creations to maintain themselves at a peak of expansion and strength on both the Magical and Spiritual planes. Like a giant sponge they are now filled to capacity with light energy. In contrast people not open to the lunar cycle will appear as many small sponges on all levels and their energy is easily manipulated and altered by others at the various levels. Being open to the lunar cycle is a major step in gaining the ability to maintain and defend one’s own astral creations. The injection of raw physical or sexual energy into the astral at these times does not act as the light energy does but instead tends to work from the bottom. It disrupts all the levels above it in a minor manner and they automatically adjust to the new conditions when ruptured.

As an example, an injection of this type of energy may force an astral event into a physical event or into self-destruction. The void created by this removal of energy would be immediately filled by your own astral creations as they swell with light and surge forward to fill the void. This always brings an added advantage and astral empowerment because it alters the entire dynamics of the levels involved. It is magically forcing change within the astral planes.

At the new moon the Spiritual astral layers begin to contract and force astral events into resolution beginning at the top and working downward. The time from the new moon to the 1st quarter involves global activities and events that society and the earth require of each individual as long range potential events. Here society and the cosmic make clear their new intentions toward you. This is the plan of destiny.

In the time before the new moon you expressed your intentions toward society and what your long range goals were. Now this is the resolution of your long range goals and societies long range expectations toward you. Our aspiring author will find out whether his or her book has a chance at becoming physical reality during this resolution phase of the long term future.

Destructive dreams or negative dreams would indicate that societal pressures will not allow publication of the book as astral events currently stand. These matters are constantly being updated with every new lunar cycle. Positive dreams would indicate that society will support publication of the book after certain conditions are met in physical reality. It indicates the possibility that the book will be published at some time in the future, this year, next year, or perhaps twenty years from now.

As before the most important victories or defeats will occur in your dreams during the third night after the new moon or the night before the 1st quarter when long range Spirit astral events are finally resolved.

The time from the new moon to 3 1/2 days later will resolve the issues one level at a time moving from the top downward. These astral creations will not go from one level to another but will always stay at the same level. The period 3 1/2 days before the 1st quarter until the 1st quarter will cause a merging of the astral levels as they resolve themselves by merging one level at a time downward. Energy from one level will rise or lower to support and defend astral creations on a lower level.

As before astral creations will be impelled to become physical events or to self-destruct. Since these are Spirit astral events they represent critical or key physical events or individuals within humanity’s and the earth’s future. The impact of our author’s book on society is being weighed. If it will contribute greatly to society’s welfare it gains strength and importance and moves down into the lower Spirit levels or the fixed etheric levels as a certain to occur future event. The implication of this book and it’s impact on society are already integrating and projecting an alteration of the long-term future.

In the same manner the time from the 1st quarter to the full moon involves potential physical events that could be immanent. At the 1st quarter astral activity wave passes into the lower Magical astral planes and Spiritual astral events connect up with their Magical counterparts.

At this time tremendous energy flows from the Spirit events into the Magical counterparts. This action is the supreme controller of astral events at the Magical levels. These Magical counter parts are energized and strengthened before any of the other astral events are influenced in any way. This is an outpouring of light energy into the Magical planes from the Spiritual counterparts.

Our budding author receives a supportive influx of light energy at this time that he or she can use to help further resolve the current employment crisis. Society has resolved to send a little grace toward this author and lighten his or her physical circumstances a little because it has determined that the book must be published in the future and he or she must be alive to publish it.

The third night after the 1st quarter is when physical events are determined. After that it is only a matter of when they will happen. They will happen sometime during the next lunar cycle and each event is programmed in for a certain time at a certain day. The night before the full moon will bring the most intense emotions and physical events. Other events will happen at a more leisurely pace throughout the next month.

The period 3 1/2 days before the full moon until the full moon are when these Magical levels merge to mitigate or strengthen the effects of a planned physical event. This means that the physical event will happen but the consequences of that physical event may be altered. Our budding author may find that he or she is enjoying the people that he or she works with. This menial job is more tolerable than his or her original dream of scrubbing dirty toilets or sweeping sawdust off factory floors.

By monitoring your dreams you will notice that you will begin to have certain types of dreams at the same time of the lunar cycle each month. This helps you to determine if progress is being made on certain issues. There will be a noticeable progression of dream content as various issues evolve and solve themselves.

Over time you will gain a deep knowledge of the astral and all of its levels through this method of lucid dreaming. You will consciously make or break astral connections for your own purposes as well as gain the ability to astrally defend yourself.

When astral connection is first made with the lunar cycle you will notice the exact moments of the full moon, first quarter, new moon, and third quarter because at those exact moments tremendous quantities of astral energy will course through your entire body. Later this will happen at the mid points of the lunar cycle also as the astral energies merge and shift from one level to another.

This happens because so much personal energy has been forced into the astral planes and accumulated. It resists becoming physical events so it just sloshes around taking up more and more space until there is no more room for it. This is the experience that awaits the new Magister Templi. The new Magister Templi has the spiritual connection to force change astrally but lacks the earth connection to bring his or her astral creations downward. This is part of the curse of that grade which is called the mystery of sorrow. He or she can act defensively but not creatively.

As mentioned earlier this entire process is automatic and can’t really be messed up. Because of this long explanations and descriptions are not really needed. They will be experienced instead.

Make Your Physical Actions Count Today!

We all know the feeling of working hard all day and not getting anything done. At least it seems that way. We don’t need to keep spinning our wheels through ineffective actions. Study the experts and champions to find out how they do it. This is the research part of any goal. Before you can do it your way you need to understand how other people have done it in other ways.

Nature in the evolutionary process explores all possible options. There are no good and evil choices in nature. Everything is explored and success is rewarded. Failure to thrive leads to stunted and abnormal living situations.

We can apply this to our own lives as well. Are we enjoying a rich and rewarding lifestyle that we are comfortable with? Or do we live in stunted and abnormal living situations that are slowly choking our spirit and will to live?

For thousands of years the “Collective Soul” of the human race has worked for the good of the entire human race. This meant holding some people back until the rest of us could catch up. Society and culture had the final word on how far a person could go in life.

With the Internet things have changed. The human race has gone global! For the first time ever you don’t need to have the support of local community to become successful. You can gather the support you need from the far corners of the earth and you can support others as well. We can’t even begin to comprehend just what this means.

There is a level playing field now and everyone has the same chance to make their mark in the world. Politics and social institutions still exist but as dinosaurs that are fast on their way to extinction. People will loose interest in them as they increasingly prove incapable of coping with today’s social problems.

Self-sufficiency and survivalism on an individual basis are going to replace wasteful government handouts. Family is going to take care of family. Local community is going to take care of local community. The solutions to humanities problems are going to appear at the grass roots level or not at all. Those waiting for government bailouts are going to be hurting. The policeman is never there when you need him, but he is there to fill out the paperwork after the fact.

Survivalism doesn’t mean being able to live off the land. It means being secure in your ability to feed and clothe your family and keep a roof over their heads in the winter. It means having a job that is not going away to China or Mexico. It means being able to find a different job if your current one does. Survivalism means physically doing whatever it takes to survive.

This is a time to put down roots so you can be strong and support others when they need you. Keeping yourself strong allows you to be there for others. This is not selfishness. It is staying alive!

Cautiously explore every opportunity that comes your way and test it for response. Putting effort out and not getting anything back is a waste of time and energy. Study the results you do get and refine the process to get even better results.

Long term goals might not bring in immediate money but they should bring in something. My long-term goals are to make a living as a writer. I’m not making much money now and I’m not trying to. My focus is on getting readers. If I was not getting readers I would not continue producing this material.

Success grows out of success not out of failure. Each small success leads to deeper understanding and insight into what changes need to be done next. Everyone has an area in life that is working for them. Expand that area to include others and see what happens. Make your physical actions count!

The Ego, Anima And Animus

We’ve talked about the Shadow and the Collective but what role do the ego, anima and animus play in human lives? If the Shadow and Collective are secondary personalities that need to be integrated what are the ego, anima and animus?

The normal ego is the bridge and mediator between the Shadow and the Collective when they are integrated. The Anima or Animus represent the opposite sex aspect of our own souls.

Males have a feminine aspect that is not developed and females have a male aspect that is not developed. We need to have a balance of male and female for our egos to develop whole and healthy. We need to be balanced to be a true partner to someone else.

We might say the Shadow represents everything we are not. This includes the things we dislike and fear. That is why the Shadow is seen as evil and Satanic. We project fears and distortions onto it.

The Collective represents the astral memory traces of the way things have always been. It represents what we call our destiny or pathway in life. In reality there is only the present moment and the collective only suggests what might happen if we continue our present course of action.

The anima or animus respectively represents those things we wish we were but feel we aren’t. The opposite sex aspect is what we find missing in ourselves.

The Shadow and Collective as secondary personalities are both alien entities to our normal ego. We don’t miss them because we don’t consider them a part of us.

Astral energy is generated at the cellular level by our physical bodies. It can be either male or female depending on our own gender. A male physical cell can not generate female astral energy because it does not have an XX Chromosome. A female physical cell can not generate male astral energy because it does not have an XY Chromosome. This is basic biology.

The needed opposite sex energy has to come from an opposite sex partner in some manner. This is the spark between people in love relationships that attracts them together and allows their souls to grow as their energy combines. This might also be the spark that brings friends together.

Relationships can be romantic, sexual, or platonic. There are many types of male/female energy that can be shared. There are many types of love. male/female energy can even be transmitted through internet lines as many are finding out. This male/female energy can be spiritual, mental, emotional, sexual or physical. All types of energy need to be explored and it is unlikely that one person can supply them all.

Through the development of the relationship male/female energy is shared and the part of us that is missing becomes developed. We become able to find in ourselves what we were looking for in others. At that point of wholeness and completeness the spark dies and the relationship moves on either to explore new energies or it dies and you move on to find a new partner. Once we find in ourselves what we were looking for we no longer need the other person in the same way. The relationship changes and the feelings change as well. The other person is not longer special in the same way.

We may have become balanced in that energy but our unbalanced energies will act to destroy the relationship. Our partner doesn’t have the required energies this time.

This is why love sparks in relationships and then later dies in some relationships. That energy was used to create astral bodies complete with psychic sensory abilities created out of a particular type of energy. The energy of love creates a healthy human ego in both people in one of the 118 possible elements. Good work! There are only 117 levels left to develop.

In actual practice and in tradition we seem to have seven great loves and not 118. We each have a soul mate partner to develop the seven chakra centers. When all seven astral bodies have been developed our ego is balanced and complete. This is the lessor work. When we are done our ego is strong enough to integrate the Collective and the Shadow. Only after all those things are done can we be healthy enough and balanced enough to find our true mate, our equal. We find them not out of need but because we are healthy enough and ready to be an equal partner in all ways.

Relationships and love do make the world go round.

Chapter 19A

Chapter 19

Tobal glanced over the fire and noticed the girls had left. He saw them by the food table and he went to refill his tankard with hot grog. He wondered what he was going to tell them when he ran into them again. He felt like avoiding them.

Then his mind turned to the strange greeting they had given him when he had sat with them. What had been going on? What had prompted both of them to kiss him that way? He was even more interested in his own reaction to Becca when she kissed him. He knew he had done or said something wrong and didn’t know what it was. He hadn’t meant to hurt her.

Tobal in spite of himself became more curious about Becca and watched her as he sipped the hot grog. It pleased him that both Melanie and Becca had completed their own base camps and were training some newbies during the winter months. They were both obviously very talented and competent in the art of survival.
Zee and Kevin came up to the beer barrel where he was standing and sipping his
grog.

“You’ve got to try this grog.” He told them. “It’s Dirk’s special recipe!”

Dirk laughed and handed them a small bowl to sample.

“That is pretty good,” Kevin remarked. “I think I will try some instead of beer.”

“Me too,” Zee laughed.

“You guys seem like you are having a good time.” Tobal grinned. “How about
some Yule Tide Carols?”

“You know any?” Kevin challenged.

“How about O’ Christmas Tree?”

They laughed and burst into a rousing chorus of “Oh, Christmas tree” that Dirk and Tobal joined in with. Soon the idea caught on and later even the drums kept time to timeless Christmas classics that dated from old eon Christianity as well as modern Yule songs. The ancient Christian tradition of Christmas was not completely forgotten and the Lord and Lady celebrated the birth of the Christ spirit within each person’s heart as well. It was a curious mixture of old and new that stirred memories of the past and brought hope for the future.

Tobal mingled and mixed with people he only knew by sight introducing himself and getting to know them. Later he accidentally intruded on an amorous couple as he was searching for a warm spot to sleep for the night and stumbled out in embarrassment.

It made him wonder if he was ready for a romantic relationship with anyone. The events of the past year had been so intense he had always pushed the thought away without carefully examining it. Now in the dead of winter with romantic couples all around it was rubbed in his face. He was thinking about it as he finally fell asleep.

Each night was a drum circle and dancing that went well into the morning hours and it was a luxury to sleep in and have nothing pressing to do except play games with friends. The late mornings and early afternoons were spent just doing camp cores and making everything ready for the evening’s entertainment.

The second day was bright and cold. This day was spent mainly in honor of the soloists that would be leaving in the morning and missing the rest of the celebration. There were talent shows with singing and juggling acts and other interesting demonstrations. These took place in one of the heated permanent log buildings.

Everyone was expected to participate and share some skill or talent. Tobal enjoyed watching the talents of others but dreaded his turn. He didn’t know what he was going to do and didn’t feel he was that good at anything. Luckily those going to solo went first and it would take a day before it got to him.

Crow dazzled everyone with magic tricks and sleight of hand that had the audience laughing and left them wondering how he did it. Especially his final disappearing act when he simply was not there anymore leaving only some smoke. Tobal wondered if he had really disappeared but then later wondered if he had really been there at all.

Perhaps he had done his entire act while his physical body lay asleep in one of the nearby teepees doing that bi-location thing.

Anne was a palm reader and kept the crowd entertained as she did private readings for anyone brave enough to hear their future. She had a corner set up with a table in the beer brewery where it was warm and quiet. There was a long line waiting to see her. He noticed Melanie, Becca, and Nikki were all waiting in line together laughing and chatting.

Seth surprised everyone by reciting long poems from memory and putting a lot of feeling into it. It seemed he had a photographic memory and could remember every word he ever read. He chose Edgar Allen Poe’s classic, “The Raven”, and “The Face on the Bar Room Floor” by D’Arcy. Tobal cheered and yelled with the rest of them. Seth really was good! Tobal was really impressed since he had trouble remembering anything at all.

When Derdre’s turn came Tobal felt himself wondering what she would do. He was really amazed when she was an artist and willing to make caricature drawings of anyone. He couldn’t resist and waited in line with a piece of paper and pencil for her to make a quick caricature sketch of himself. He was delighted with the result and couldn’t wait to show some of his friends later that evening. He never did get his own palm read. Maybe he could do that later.

Misty as HighPriestess led a very special meditation and ritual for the Yule celebration and the blessings of the Lord and Lady. Tobal was wearing his mother’s jade and amber necklace and his father’s dagger. He carried the hospital bracelets with him in his medicine bag that he carried about his neck and the wand strapped to his left leg above his boot. He was wearing these things during the ritual.

His eyes were closed and he was imagining sitting on the floor of the secret cave beneath the waterfall. He was sitting in front of the central fire and had a heavy fur robe draped over his shoulders so he was warm and comfortable even outside in the dark.

He had been practicing the meditation Crow had taught him and the impressions were becoming extremely vivid when his right arm was jostled and he opened his eyes in annoyance and looked up.

A man was sitting cross legged grinning at him. The man reached over and placed his hand on the dagger before Tobal could react.

“Hi son,” he said. “Your mom and I have been waiting a long time to get this chance to sit and talk.”

“Yes we have,” a rich melodious voice joined in from the left. “I see you have found some of the things we left for you.” She leaned forward and touched the necklace and he felt energy like electricity flow through it and fill him.

As his father touched the dagger and his mother touched the necklace they both seemed to take on a more solid appearance. They also seemed to have more strength and energy.

They were both sitting cross legged on the ground in front of him. His father was on his right side and his mother on his left. They were dressed in the red robes of Master. Tobal drank in the sight of them, faces he had not seen since he was two years old.

He wanted to burn this moment into his memory for eternity and always remember his parents as he was seeing them now. His mother wore her hair long and in braids. She had beautiful lips and gray eyes that twinkled at him. He saw the rise and fall of her breasts through an opening in her robe. He reached out to her and she held him tightly against her. His eyes burned and he blinked back tears.

“Are you really alive?” He blinked hardly daring to hope.

He turned to his father and gripped his hand firmly. His father had long dark curly hair and a thick beard with strong muscular arms and shoulders. Suddenly he was in his father’s arms being crushed in a loving bear hug. He felt his father’s hands on his shoulders gently pushing him away and back down on his cushion.

His father and mother looked at each other and then back at him. There was love in their eyes and humor too. They got up and stood in front of him. Suddenly they seemed taller and more powerful as the room radiated like the sun and his eyes squinted against the brightness. Their robes dropped and they stood as High Priest and High Priestess before him in nude splendor holding hands like the figures in the gold medallion.

“We are the Lord and Lady of the Oak.” They said and seemed to swirl and move like heat waves until they turned two dimensional and receded back into the life sized images painted on the cave wall above the altar. “You have our blessings always. We will talk more later.”

Tobal felt a snapping sound at the base of his neck and suddenly found himself no longer in the secret cave but in the circle at the Yule celebration ritual. Misty and the High Priest were standing in front of him with their arms extended in blessing.

Above the central fire he could see the smiling faces of his father and mother. He was elated and shaken by what had happened and wanted to talk with someone about it. Crow was probably getting ready to leave. Maybe he could find Ellen and ask her. She was supposed to know about talking to the Lord and Lady.

He noticed Angel taking part in the ritual as helper and wondered if she was going to be taking Misty’s place soon. He found an excuse to talk with her and found out she was training but it would be several months until she was ready to take Misty’s place. Serving on the ritual team was not a mandatory part of being a Master.

Only those that felt called to serve on the ritual team did so. Since all ritual positions of all three degrees were voluntary there was quite a change in the number of qualified people. She had seen Ellen around but didn’t know where she was. Tobal thanked her and moved on.

He suddenly remembered Crow would be leaving soon and he needed to give him his present. Crow was chatting with some of the others as Tobal pulled him aside and gave him his gift and wished him well on his solo.

Tobal had finished his little carvings and it was time to give them to his friends as Christmas presents. He had carefully polished them and laced them on rawhide thongs to wear around the neck like amulets. As he gave them away he loved the looks of surprise and pleasure that lit his friends faces as they accepted the gift.

He found each of his friends and pulled them aside for a minute to quietly give them their gift. He gave Rafe the fox, Melanie got a loon, Sarah got a beaver, Ellen got an eagle and Crow got a wolf. He had made an owl for Nick but Nick was with Tara and he didn’t have anything for her.

As everyone was showing each other their gifts he noticed Becca sitting by herself and looking a little lost and lonely. Summoning up his courage he went over to where she was sitting. He looked down into her troubled green eyes and felt himself being helplessly pulled into them. Tearing his gaze away, he averted his eyes and held out the owl to her.

“Here,” he said gruffly. Then he turned around and walked away, his face contorting with the conflicting emotions he was feeling. Mostly he felt glad and happy. It was like he had finally lain to rest a demon that had been tormenting his inner soul.

He noticed Becca seemed strangely happy and had gone over to share her gift with the others and was chatting gaily. It was good to be with friends, he thought as he made his way to the beer barrel for another tankard and some light conversation with Anne, Derdre and Seth before they left.

This was the first time he was able to really catch up with what was going on in the lives of other clansmen and he took advantage of it as much as he could. The first one he really had a chance to chat with was Wayne. He seemed to have gotten over his breakup with Char and was very protective of his newbie.

Tobal noticed wryly that Wayne’s newbie was a cute brunette with an impish smile and a little girl look that made her appear more helpless than she really was. She had already soloed so he knew she was able to take care of herself. He didn’t understand why she chose to act like she couldn’t. She was very clingy with Wayne and it seemed she was going to wait out at least a few of the coldest months with him before trying to train on her own.

Wayne seemed to be taking it all in stride and was very comfortable with the situation but Tobal noticed that Char kept glancing over at her and didn’t seem too happy about the arrangement. He could feel the tension in the air and mentally reaffirmed something Rafe had told him about not getting into romantic relationships with newbies.

It seemed like it only led to problems and often the newbie didn’t have the skills to just up and leave on their own. Rafe had always told him to get the solos out of the way first and watching this thing between Wayne and Char, he found that he had to agree.

He spoke with some of the others he didn’t know very well and then went over to the drum circle and sat near the fire feeling the beat of the drums against his body. It was restful and he had many things on his mind. He didn’t really feel like dancing. Much later he decided it was time for sleep and headed for bed.

He cleared a spot for sleeping in one of the teepees and spread some furs on the floor. He put more wood on the fire in the center and pulled his clothes off. He was sliding in between his blankets when the door flap on the teepee opened with a gust of cold air and in the fire light he saw Becca slip in through the door and reclose it.

She turned toward him and in a husky voice asked, “Can I sleep here tonight?”

Wordlessly he sat up and took her pack setting it down to one side. He helped her out of her furs and she slid under the blankets with him feeling warm and smooth against his body. Their hands stroked and explored each other gently and then with more urgency. She moaned and gasped at his touch. His body thrilled at her touch. Soundlessly their lips merged and later their bodies joined in an explosion of uncontrolled passion.

Tobal woke up to the crackle of the flames in the fire. Becca’s arm was across his chest and she was cuddled up against him. He moved a little and she smiled but didn’t wake up. He spent the next hour laying there looking at her face lying next to him. He didn’t want to wake her up. He just wanted to remember forever.

Morning came and the flames died down to the point it was getting cold in the teepee when Becca finally woke up. Seeing she was awake he took advantage and slipped out of the blankets to stir up the fire and put more wood on it.

Any other sleepers had already left for breakfast and they had the teepee to themselves. He was aware of her green eyes watching his naked body as he moved about the cold room and dived back under the blankets. She moved away from him.

“You’re cold,” she whispered. Her eyes laughing.

“Then warm me up,” he challenged and she did. They missed breakfast, but hunger pangs forced them out for lunch.

The third day of the Yule festival was Sunny and bitter cold. But Tobal hardly noticed as he and Becca grabbed some food and headed over to watch the talent show. Melanie gave an impressive knife throwing exhibition that drew applause from the crowd and also a growing respect as she hit several thrown targets while they were still in the air. As she left the stage she saw them at the back of the room and moved toward them smiling.

“It’s about time the two of you storm clouds got together,” she teased. “Now maybe the rest of us can have some fun without getting rained on.”

“Storm clouds?” Tobal asked puzzled.

“Don’t give me any of that crap,” she put her hands on her hips. “I’ve not only had to listen to you, but I’ve had to listen to her,” and she pointed at Becca who was smiling. “When ever the two of you are within six feet of each other there is so much static electricity in the air that it makes my hair stand up and anyone else’s that’s was around you. The whole camp has been making bets on when the two of you would finally get together.”
