In thinking of the soul the first thing we need to realize is that we originated from the same divine sparks of light and love energy as everything else in the universe. Our physical bodies contain the same molecules and atoms found everywhere else in nature. Yet our conscious awareness remains independent of our physical bodies. Our awareness can be focused in the present moment so strongly that we are not aware of the passage of time. We can be so engrossed in television that we don’t even feel our physical bodies. We can be so caught up in daydreams that we miss out on what is going on around us. And of course, our nights are often filled with dreams in which our awareness travels in strange and wondrous worlds.

Is this awareness our soul? Not necessarily! The real answer to this question lies in whether our awareness can hold itself together after death when it leaves the physical body. It depends upon our concept of self, it depends upon the strength of our ego and whether our ego identifies with our physical body or with our nonphysical spiritual body. If our awareness cannot hold itself together after the death of our physical body it will fragment into random emotions, sensations, desires, thoughts and images. These fragments will then once more be absorbed into the group soul of the human race where they will mingle together with other fragments to form new personalities and new lifetimes.

Another name for our soul is the observer self. It is this observer self that can collect the fragments of our personality upon the death of our physical body and reunite them in a meaningful way. This observer self is the basis of the human soul. Julian Jaynes in his book The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown Of the Bicameral Mind shows us that humanity is evolving much more rapidly than we previously believed possible. In essence, it was only a few thousand years ago that humanity was operating as a type of hive mind with a central authority which all the workers obeyed without question. Humanity was genetically inclined to obey this external authority without question. It was a hierarchy with a caste system that was rigidly followed. Only in the last 2000 years has this really changed. Humanity has been going through the process of individuation, of discovering and following an internal authority through the development of the self or human ego. Humanity has been in the process of evolving the individual soul! Not all modern humans have a soul!

The simple soul or rudimentary soul is created as a byproduct of the ability to create an internal world that reflects the outer world. We have the ability to see ourselves within this internal world and thus the soul and consciousness or the normal human ego corresponds to the “observer self” in modern psychology. It is a product of the creative imagination. The abilities of the soul include art and symbolic thinking. The observer self remains neutral and does not participate in dream activity but remains a watcher. The observer self or the human soul is created from a balance of male and female energies. It is neither male nor female but includes both in an integrated manner. It is this observer self that holds the personality fragments together as much as possible upon the death of the physical body.

This creative soul is the evolutionary leap of humanity resulting from the invention of the written word, occurring for the first time only around 5000 BC. Prior to this time normal humans were not truly conscious and did not truly have souls. Those few humans that did have souls were the leaders of traditional civilizations involving strict systems of hierarchy. Humanity consisted of herds or societies of group minds or hive minds directed by those leaders who were the only ones that had souls. This was the old way.

The horrific element in all of this is the large portion of modern human society that has not developed the immortal soul, the observer self, the ego. Again modern psychiatry and psychology tell us that schizophrenics, psychotics and others with mental or emotional illness have poorly developed ego’s and self esteem issues. How many people do you know that have poor self esteem? Do they have a soul? Do you?

In today’s modern world this evolution is still taking place and perhaps half of humanity still has not developed the “soul” in the terms specified above. By this I mean the ability to have an internal world and the ability to see one’s self creatively within this internal world.

Once more Julian Jaynes clarifies this for us. The person without a soul, an observer self or an ego can still function almost normally within society. They can be intelligent, learn rapidly and be highly skilled, but they are not dreamers! They are literal! Their awareness remains in the physical world except when forcibly torn from it through intoxication, drug use, devout religious prayer or crisis. They rely entirely upon memory and repetition of what has worked in the past. When confronted with unfamiliar situations they remain helpless unless told what to do by an “external authority” or “higher power”. Instinctively these people feel the need to “escape” and to have their “souls” torn from the torment of this perpetual present moment through traditional religion or artificial experiences such as drug and alcohol use.

I’m sure that you can recognize a few people that fall into this category.

There are two factors that need to be taken into consideration. The first is the strength of ego or sense of self and the second factor is how strongly the ego or sense of self identifies with the soul or nonphysical body and with a nonphysical awareness. Both of these are needed! The sense of self needs to be strong enough to hold all aspects of our personality together after the death of our physical body and it needs to be aware of itself as a nonphysical awareness that does not require a physical body to exist.

Strength of ego or sense of self is largely determined through self-esteem. How is self esteem developed? Through competency and the creation of values.

However, this is not as easy as it appears because of the insanity of modern society. The mental and emotional illnesses that remain unrecognized and unchallenged within modern society often work directly against this process! To put it bluntly, developing personal survival skills, the ability for self defense and training in basic first aid procedures do more to develop self esteem than anything else that is currently known. These three skills affect a person at such deep and core levels that they are able to neutralize most negative and pathological programming by getting beneath them.

The development of basic survival skills allows a person to feel comfortable in his or her ability to provide for themselves and their family no matter what external circumstances might occur. They know themselves as “survivors” and because of knowing themselves as “survivors” they survive! This allows them to feel good about themselves and to have a healthy self-esteem!

The same is true with basic self defense skills. The use of fear and intimidation is rampant within our society. We are taught to be afraid, not taught to be self-reliant. Fear and intimidation are powerful methods of coercive force used against us and the only way to rise above them is to have the ability to protect ourselves. We need to believe in our ability to deal with problems and emergency situations! This helps us to feel good about ourselves!

Consider these examples: My father once asked me whether I stopped at stop signs because I was afraid of getting a ticket or afraid of being in an accident? I told him in no uncertain terms that I stopped at stop signs because there is collective agreement among drivers that this should be done. I did not do it out of fear! Or what about this other fear based slogan used by the Highway Patrol, “Click it or ticket!”

The more ability a person has to defend themselves, the less power fear and intimidation have over them.

Training in basic first aid procedures works in the same way. There is no feeling more horrible than that feeling of helplessness when someone is injured and we don’t know what to do. There is a need for action and we are unable to do anything. When this happens we do not feel good about ourselves! If we know what to do and can act appropriately we feel good about ourselves!
It should be abundantly clear how these three skills are of absolute importance in the process of developing self esteem at the lowest possible level. They not only act to empower a person but they also in many cases provide mental and emotional healing for the individual and help them to feel good about themselves and believe in their abilities to live the type of life they desire.

Now consider our modern society. Does modern society encourage survival skills? On the contrary, it actively encourages specialization of skills with a corresponding dependence upon others for various specialized functions. Can you see this as the continuance of the hive mind mentality which creates castes and hierarchy? Humanity is now evolving away from this, not evolving toward it! This is the old way, not the new way! This does not develop the ego or the soul, but develops non-ego and collectivism.

Does modern society encourage the development of self defense skills? On the contrary it actively discourages self defense claiming that law enforcement is to serve the function of defending society. The problem with this is that it is merely an idea, a concept that falls down in the confrontation with reality. Reality is the present moment and the requirement for self defense occurs within the present moment, not when the police arrive. Then its too late! We live in the present moment and need to react in the present moment. We need to feel safe in the present moment. The police are never there in the present moment. Is that too hard to understand?

Well, how about basic first aid training? Does modern society support general training in basic first aid? You’ve got to be kidding. Even the police are by law now prevented from offering medical assistance at accident scenes. Someone might sue them! Forget about supporting the common bystander in this!

So does modern society support the development of self esteem in individuals or does it do everything it can to actively hinder this process? Do social workers and the welfare system provide empowerment of individuals or make them more dependent upon the system itself?
The Organic Gnostic will answer that there is a sickness within modern society that tolerates and preserves just those very things that work to prevent development of the soul by blocking the creation of self esteem and the strengthening of the ego. In an evolutionary sense modern society is trying to revert back to the hive mind where all but the ruling class are mindless robots without souls. Instead of drawing people into the infinite opportunities available within the present moment, into positions of empowerment, it seeks to keep them helpless within the present moment at all costs, slaves to some higher and more sacred cause which demands their sacrifice and life’s blood, to something promised in the far future that will forever remain out of reach today.

In Organic Gnosticism the soul and the body are tightly bound together in a resonant circuit. In the book Synagogue of Satan Stanislaw Przybyszewski informs us that the soul is an extrusion of the physical body. The soul is developed and strengthened through stressing the physical body until it gives off nonphysical energy and this can take place through Tantric sexuality, physical violence or extreme conditions, extreme emotionality, extreme study or even extreme prayer and meditation. The soul is developed through extreme living!

When this concept of the resonant circuit and that of reincarnation are combined one discovers with joy that the cycle of birth/death/rebirth is an eternal one and that millennia from now our souls will require a physical body of some type. The worst thing a person can do is to live a bland life of no effort in which there is little or no soul growth. The highest achievement is to live life to the fullest, experiencing both the good and the bad that comes one’s way and embracing it to the fullest! This means to live and die with dignity and honor! There is no reason to fear death because there will be other lifetimes. There is no reason for mediocrity. The individual awareness and the soul will continue on after death of the physical body.

In his book Satan’s Children the statement is made that if there is an afterlife for the soul it will only belong to Satanists because they alone have developed the power of their souls through passionate living. Those that live mild tranquil lives of sloth and boredom have not put forth any effort and thus have not generated any energy for the advancement or development of their souls. It is only the Organic Gnostic that can creatively and explosively learn to find solutions “outside the box” and more completely develop the powers of their soul. In doing this they are always outsiders and not herd animals. They are true individuals! Only a person with a powerful soul can travel the heroic path of Organic Gnosticism!

For the first time a true understanding begins to emerge. In Organic Gnosticism we understand the complete creation and balancing of the soul as the divine Androgyne, half male and half female, with an awareness that is able to span the entire spectrum of human existence from the spiritual light to the dark, earthy, pure black energy of life giving sexuality itself. This is an awareness that always returns to a physical body for the full spectrum of experience it can give.
This divine Androgyne is created through the wonderful and horrible process of falling in love and then falling out of love. It is the product of a loving and healthy human sexuality. In our world we can see the roots of violence and hatred as the frustrated responses of a blocked and unnatural human sexuality.

Here is what he said in his introduction to De Profundis:

“When I speak of the revelations of the soul in the sexual life, naturally I’m not thinking of the bland, brave, comical – spicy eroticism of a Guy de Maupassant, nor the sweet – repulsive ready-made petticoat poetry of a Peter Nansen, nor the sated indifference of the marriage bed. What I mean, is the painful, fear filled awareness of a nameless, terrible power which throws two souls together and seeks to join them in pain and torment, I mean the intense torment of love, in which the soul breaks, because it is not able to merge with that of the other, I mean the enormous feeling of oppression in love, where man feels the activity of a thousand generations within his soul, a thousand centuries of torment and ever again the torment of these generations, which destroy the future in a frenzy of rutting passion, I think only of the soul’s side in the life of love: the unknown, puzzling, great problem, which Schopenhauer seriously brought forth for the first time in his “Metaphysics of Love”, yet really with little success, because logic and reason is not sufficient for the illogical soul.”

What he is talking about is falling in love and believing that you have found the missing half of your soul, only to painfully find out that your soul is not able to merge completely with that of the other person. When successfully done this divine Androgyne is a god or a Satan, a Divine Counterpart, the completion of the goal. But what is the beginning? What is the beginning of the soul? How does a person with a soul differ from an animal that does not have one? And what is a Divine Counterpart?

This is the view of the Organic Gnostic, but what about the view of Christianity? Christianity seeks to escape from physical life and the wheel of reincarnation. It teaches that the soul is immortal and that one needs to save their soul, to return to the spiritual light of the Godhead, to the spiritual light of creation! The reality is almost exactly what they say! If a soul refuses physical reincarnation it will gradually rise through the astral planes and fade away into extinction over thousands of years. It will return into the light with only the awareness and consciousness of light, and the soul will be no more.

Yet even Christianity admits the power of physical incarnation in the creation and strengthening of the soul. The human soul with its physical body is capable of immense soul growth during its brief lifetime, far more than would be possible if it had chosen to not live a physical life. The use of physical energies can be applied to the creation and strengthening of the nonphysical soul. The command of Christianity is to subject the physical body and channel its energies directly to the higher levels of the soul.

The lowest possible and most powerful type of energy that can be generated by the physical body is that of sexual orgasm energy. Through Tantric sexual practices the soul can be developed and strengthened immensely so that it is empowered upon all levels of the astral planes and well-prepared for its next physical incarnation. Through such practices the soul can become strong and healthy. It can provide a safe nonphysical home for awareness at the death of the physical body! This practice has long been understood by other religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism and various yogic schools as well as the cults of Vishnu and Shiva.

But Christianity has forbidden and vilified human sexuality and made it something of the devil. It has taken the most beautiful gift that humanity has and turned it into something repulsive. In its teachings it has taken away the most powerful means for the strengthening and regeneration of the soul and promoted a life renouncing worldview that leads to the extinction of the soul, not to its continued existence or to immortality as it claims! Life is sacred! Those who refuse further incarnations will gradually rise through the astral planes over thousands of years and fade away like a soul with Alzheimer’s disease, not even realizing what they are missing!

Chapter 3

He sneezed again and a blond girl about two years younger than Tobal came around the corner with a smile, wearing a spring colored dress. She was five feet four inches tall and pretty in a plain sort of way. Her eyes were a warm bright blue and danced with humor.

“Bless you!” She said brightly with a smile. “I thought I heard someone. May I help you, oh!” Her hand went to her face and covered her mouth in a startled manner. She was blushing furiously in embarrassment and backing away.

“I didn’t mean to. I’m sorry, I was just startled.”

He touched his face, relaxed and tried to grin.

“That’s all right,” the awkward moment passed.

“How can I help you?” She asked again this time a little nervously.

Tobal eyed her. She was too young to know about the medallion and the faded letter. She was younger than he was. Still his instructions had been to take them to this shop. Slowly and uncertainly he took the medallion off over his head and handed it to the girl.

“I would like to know what you can tell me about this medallion and how old it is,” he said.

She looked at it, her eyes widened and her face turned pale. She looked sharply and asked in a snappy voice.

“Are you trying to sell this?”

“No, I’m not. I’m trying to find information about it. It belonged to my parents.”

“I have to get father. I can’t talk to you about this”, she said quickly. “Make yourself at home and look around the shop a little bit more. I’ll be right back with father in a few minutes.”

Tobal watched as she stepped through a curtain behind the main counter. He heard her running up stairs into the living quarters. Suddenly he wished he had taken the medallion back before she had left. He fought down a rising panic. She seemed honest enough and it would be all right. Still he knew he should have never left it out of his hands. He didn’t know her or anyone else in this town. If anything happened it would be her word against his and unlikely that anyone would believe him.

Trying to take his mind off the medallion, Tobal wandered around other areas of the shop looking with renewed amazement at finely crafted armor, ornate weapons, muskets and pistols. Some of the metal still had hammer marks from when it was forged and beaten into shape. Leather boots and woven tapestries competed with rich clothing hand sewn from the finest silks. Oil lamps lit ornate desks covered with hand written books and crude scientific instruments whose purpose he couldn’t even begin to fathom.

Close examination of some items showed that not all of them were new. Some of the items were not only real and functional but had also been used. Some of the armor and weapons were sweat stained and scarred or repaired. He studied a Roman helmet and noticed the leather lining was soft and pliable with sweat stains on it as if it had been used recently. The bronze buckles were highly polished.

When he touched these used items he felt memories enter into his mind. Perhaps he was reminded of past lives when he had known, worn and used items such as these. Perhaps that was why they stirred such deep and powerful emotions within him and why they felt so comfortable in his hands.

He heard someone coming slowly down the stairs and headed back to the counter. The tread sounded slower and heavier and he knew it was not the girl returning. Whoever it was walked with a pronounced limp. The curtains parted and a very tall, distinguished looking gentleman with old-fashioned spectacles and long gray hair pulled back in a ponytail entered the room. Tobal stared at the spectacles. They were the kind of thing no one wore any more. Corrective surgery had long made any type of eye glasses a thing of the past.

He wondered at the odd affectation and suppressed a smile. Anyone that owned a shop like this would have to be unusual. The man was holding Tobal’s medallion and staring at it with a peculiar look in his eye. Almost lovingly the old man’s fingers traced the outer circle and the two figures.

He looked at Tobal and said softly, “Do you have anything else?”

Tobal pulled the faded letter out of his pocket and handed it over. The old man’s face paled as he looked at the broken wax seal. He carefully took the letter out of the envelope and began to read. When he was done he looked at Tobal with a new expression on his face. There was steely determination and something that looked suspiciously like newly forming tears.

The old man asked solemnly, “Do you claim the right of blood?”

Not knowing what to say, Tobal just nodded.

“Yes, I do.”

The old man smiled widely and stepping around the corner embraced Tobal in a warm hug.

“Then welcome son, welcome! You’ve come home at last!”

The old man’s name was Adam Gardner and his daughter was named Sarah. She was an only child. Her mother had died when she was an infant. She was only one year younger than Tobal. The way she pinned her hair into twin pony tails made her look younger.

Adam called Sarah down to mind the shop while the two of them went upstairs to talk. Tobal related what he knew while the old man sat quietly and listened. He was particularly interested that Tobal’s Uncle Harry had been reactivated and there was new interest in his parent’s research. He was not surprised uncle Harry had discouraged Tobal from coming to Old Seattle.

“He was right,” Adam told him. “Most of the people that knew your father and mother are dead. I think your uncle and I might be the only ones left and I never met your uncle. Your parents spoke well of him though and that was always good enough for me. It was a foolish idea coming here but I’m glad you did.”

“I owe your mother and father a lot,” he continued. “There are not many around any more that still remember what really happened.” “Hell,” he sighed, “I don’t know what really happened and I was there.”

“It was during the failure of phase II that I started working with Ron and Rachel. They were brilliant scientists and very much in love.” He glanced at Tobal and his eyes softened, “I’m sorry you never got to know them. “I remember how excited they were when you were born. They brought you straight to the village from the hospital and showed you off. They took you everywhere they could. When they went on missions my wife, Linda, or I would baby sit you and some of the other children.”

Tobal’s head was spinning and he felt completely lost. “Wait please,” he interrupted. “What do you mean phase II, I thought there was only one project and why were there other children around if it was dangerous?”

Adam sighed heavily and shifted in his chair, “There were at least three different programs I knew about and more that I didn’t. Most of them were heavily classified Federation research. The overall focus of your parent’s research involved matter transmission from one point to another.”

“But that was done years ago,” Tobal said. “At least I think it was.”

“It has been done with solid crystalline objects but never with organic tissue or living things. Impurities within the cellular structure cause the collapse of the cell tissue under the stress of intense magnetic field energies. Your parents were trying to find ways to purify the human body enough so it would transform into pure energy and the back into flesh again.”

“Is that possible,” Tobal asked?

“Yes,” Adam replied quietly. “Your parents did this many times. I’ve done it as well. The entire sanctuary project was designed as the first round of purifications needed to produce this effect in humans and was known as phase I. It’s objective was to produce general spiritual, mental, emotional, physical health, self esteem and competence by naturally strengthening the magnetic fields within the human body. It was very successful in producing sweeping changes physically, mentally and emotionally in a positive manner.”

“It was so successful the city-state of Heliopolis was forced to assume a ‘closed’ or ‘forbidden’ status under Federation supervision. Graduates of phase I were vastly superior to their peers in normal Federation society. Given a chance they would out perform or out compete others while remaining healthy and highly individualized. The main draw back from the Federation’s view was that graduates were too independent. They didn’t like taking orders from people they didn’t know or respect.”

“Phase II tried to further purify the human body through mechanical means using high strength pulsating magnetic fields similar to how solid objects have been treated and transported in the past. This is the project that failed. Scientists exposed to these raw magnetic field energies began to experience bizarre side effects and deformities as their human genetic structure mutated. Your parents alone seemed immune to these hazards that were killing others.”

“That was when I became involved. I was going through phase I. A handful of us met secretly with your parents and studied natural shamanistic ways of purifying and energizing the human body. Your mother was pregnant with you and didn’t want to do anything that might cause harm to her unborn infant. She was already afraid she might have exposed you to harmful influences and genetic mutations.”

He peered at Tobal with keen interest through his spectacles.

“You seem to be healthy and normal though.”

He continued. “Howling Wolf was a local Native American shaman that had mastered the practice of bi-location, being in two places at once. He developed this ability through natural means. He was never a part of the official program and the Federation never knew about him.

Your parents met him accidentally one day in the mountains. He gave your mother herbs he said would help her pregnancy. Later they learned he was able to instantly teleport himself from one place to another. This was what your parents were interested in and didn’t involve sophisticated technology. They became his students.

Training started out as a form of mental projection like remote viewing but deepened into the transport of the entire physical body. Howling Wolf was a strong influence and convinced your parents that you would be born healthy and that learning this bi-location ability would not be harmful to you. Your parents convinced Howling Wolf to teach a small group of us and we met in secret.

As our shamanism training progressed it became clear that spirit travel and bi-location could be achieved naturally and safely without the mutagenic hazards of high strength magnetic fields and super conductors.

We didn’t need the money or the machines the Federation supplied. Even more important we didn’t need the strict military supervision and control. Your parents researched the effect of Howling Wolf’s training on the human body and found ways to measure scientifically what was really happening.

They were able to duplicate his training and developed other methods that combined science and shamanism. They created a teleportation device capable of transporting Phase I graduates from one transmitter to another and back. That project was called Phase III.

Phase I graduates had no problems going through the matter transmitter even though non-graduates could not. My theory is Phase I training integrated body, mind and spirit in a way that ‘unified’ the entire personality.

Howling Wolf taught that these mysteries and natural techniques have always been known to a small group of individuals throughout history. These secrets have been taught in secret mystery schools and handed down individually through oral traditions.

This training involved the development of the non-physical body, aura or soul as it is some times called. It was the development of this non-physical body that ‘energized’ and harmonized with the physical body in a way that allowed the physical body to transform into pure energy and back again without damage to the individual cells.”

Adam glanced at Tobal before continuing, “Howling Wolf told us in ancient times this was called ‘becoming immortal or God like’. Each culture had it’s own name for it. The Taoists called it ‘developing the immortal physical body’. Jesus used this technique or something similar when he appeared in a closed room full of disciples after his supposed death. Thomas, the doubter, did not believe until he felt the holes of the nails in Jesus’ hands and feet. The ancient Greeks spoke of heroes and heroines that became immortal.”

The Pirate
After José de Espronceda

With ten cannons, polished on board,
With full sails before the wind,
As swift as the wings of a gull,
A skiff prowls through the flood:
The skiff of the pirate Herr,
Known on all the seas
And from one beach to another,
Baptized “the Shark” for his courage.

In dark water flits the moon,
The wind whistles and lashes the rigging:
A long silver streak runs
Wide through choppy blue waters.
And the pirate captain
Sits and sings at edge of the rudder,
Asia left, right the beaches of Europe,
And sings and sings and swings his hat:
Fly, my sailors, fly
Undaunted;
Fly and sail to victory!
Mock the storms, the cliffs and the reef,
The whims of heaven, the enemy ships,
Dare to die for your Herr!
Twenty prizes
Have we captured,
Laughed out loud
At national caps;
A hundred nations
Lie here at my feet
And salute us
With their flags.

For my skiff is my wealth,
For my law is my desire,
My God is the wind, freedom my right,
My only country the sea!

Kings fight overseas
In blind greed,
Over a few acres of beets.
Look, I laugh! My fields
Reach as far as the wide wild
Sea unfurls its banner of freedom.

There is no pennant
That glistens like it,
There is no coast,
Where it borders
That has not
Saluted my dynasty,
That has not recognized
My right to rule.
For my skiff is my wealth,
For my law is my desire,
My God is the wind, freedom my right,
My only country the sea!

Hardly a shrine to Mars boys:
Ship in sight!
It runs now with full lungs,
Hoi, all sails full, turns tail and runs,
It runs and runs; for this lout
Doesn’t love the king of the sea.
But as brothers,
You and I,
My faithful.
We divide the loot,
The only thing
I take for myself,
Without dispute:
You, my beauty, you!
For my skiff is my wealth,
For my law is my desire,
My God is the wind, freedom my right,
My only country, the sea!

Damned to hellfire,
To death on a rope,
I sit and laugh at you!
Guard yourself, wretches: whom I desire
I will hang on the yard-arm,
Perhaps from his own brig!
And if I fall:
That is life!
I had already back then
Given it up for lost,
When I broke the chain,
When I, a hero
Created my own law,
My own world.
For my skiff is my wealth,
For my law is my desire,
My God is the wind, freedom my right,
My only country, the sea!

Melodies like blustering
Organs throng and
Play around me in the night storm, swishing,
My quivering ropes moaning,
My cannons booming thunder
And the black seas roaring.
With their violent
Songs around me
I go to rest,
Surrounded by surging waves.
Rejoicing tongues
Surround me here,
Sung to sleep,
By the sea, by the sea
For my skiff is my wealth,
For my law is my desire,
My God is the wind, freedom my right,
My only country, the sea!

In dark water flits the moon,
The wind whistles and lashes the rigging:
A long silver streak runs
Wide through choppy blue waters.
And the pirate captain
Leans silently, high on the rudder’s edge,
Left Asia, right the beaches of Europe,
His hat pulled down deep over his forehead.

With ten cannons, polished on board,
With full sails before the wind,
Swift as the wings of a gull,
Prowls a skiff through the flood:
The skiff of the pirate Herr,
Known on all the seas
And from one beach to another,
Baptized “the Shark” for his courage.

Self mastery and mastery of our physical lives means to constantly act in an appropriate manner for any given situation. By acting in an appropriate manner we can achieve much more with less effort.

It is difficult enough to achieve our personal goals without deliberately alienating people that could become our allies and supporters. There will always be enemies. We should not drive away those that could become our friends.

Friends, family and society expect us to act and perform in certain ways. When we act in ways that are expected of us we receive support and approval. Without the support and approval of friends, family and society we can not physically achieve the goals we desire. It is vital to realize the importance of the support other people give us or can give us. Without support even if we achieve our physical goal we will not enjoy it.

Our joy comes from sharing with others things we have truly earned. If we have no one to share with our victory in life becomes meaningless. We become as a child that refuses to share its toys with anyone else.

When we act in a manner that is unconventional or surprising our friends, family and society withdraw their support. If our actions are too extreme we are rejected or punished in subtle ways meant to bring us back in line. We have all experienced peer pressure to some degree in our lives. It is a very powerful force.

Self mastery means having the adaptability and self esteem to do what is expected and by putting our own creative slant on things go in the direction we wish to go. There is a way to creatively unite what others demand of us and those things we want in life. It is up to us to find that win-win situation. Our friends, family and society will only support us after they understand our personal goals are in harmony with what they expect of us.

When we are successful they will understand how the achieving of our personal goal has helped everyone. Until that time we will stand alone against terrible opposition with very little support. If we can gain any kind of support from others we should try to do it.

No one understands us like we understand ourselves. Even our families and closest friends don’t really understand us at times. They can only go by our actions, what they see and what we tell them about ourselves.

Everyone takes the limited information they receive about us and create an image or impression of us. This image or impression is their own understanding of who we are. This image is a label or stereotype. They use this image or stereotype in all future dealings with us unless we for some reason force them to re-evaluate who we are.

We do the same thing. We look at our best friend and think we understand him or her. We believe we can predict how our friend will act in certain situations. When our friend doesn’t act the way we expect we suspect something is wrong.

We try to get them to act in a way we have grown accustomed to. We want them to act in a stereotyped way. When they act in the accustomed way we know how to deal with them. When they act in unfamiliar ways we no longer know what is appropriate and that makes us uncomfortable.

We want to be comfortable. Others want to be comfortable around us too. They want us to act in predictable ways. One of the most powerful ways to achieve our physical goals is to act, dress and live in a manner that will create the image or stereotype appropriate for achieving our goals.

We must deliberately choose the image we wish and be consistent in projecting that image. We must look and act as if we are already the type of person we wish to be. We must act as if we have already achieved the goal we want to achieve.

Through repeated exposure to the image we are projecting others will stereotype us in a manner consistent with the goal we want. People will begin to support our efforts because it seems right we have those goals. They come to believe we have the right to the goals we are seeking.

The support of others validates us and helps us get through difficult times. We get feedback that others would like us to succeed. We feel good about ourselves and our goals.

This is especially true when our loved ones are supportive of us. The powerful thing about deliberately creating stereotypes is we can customize our image in a way that is one of a kind and unforgettable. People will fit us within a certain category and then create a special sub-category especially for us.

The key is to first create a general stereotype recognizable to others. Then we can create a sub-category that is unique and individual. When people don’t recognize the image we project they will create one of their own that is not one we would like to have.

They will treat you and interact with you in a manner that will perpetuate their image of you. If you are labeled as a loser or a flake you will be treated like a loser or a flake.

These negative stereotypes are some of the hardest obstacles we must overcome in physically achieving our goals in life. It is much better to project the image of your choice than to allow others to choose for you.

The way to earn this special sub-category in to act, dress and live according to stereotype but also add so much open honesty and integrity that you as an individual become more important and interesting than the stereotype itself.

Be true to the stereotype we project while also being true to ourselves. Give others clues as to the best ways to interact with us. Let people know how we want to be treated so they can treat us in the way we ask.

If the image we project is too complex others will not understand us and be uncomfortable around us. We want people to feel comfortable around us. We want to act in predictable ways and make it easy for others to be comfortable with us.

The most important stereotype we project is a sexual one. What kind of man or woman am I? Do I take care of myself? Am I attractive and physically fit? What is my attitude and my outlook on life?

Think of yourself. Look in a mirror. What do you see? What do others see? Do others see what we want them to see? How can we improve the image we project? Is the sexual stereotype you project going to help you achieve your personal goals in life?

Is your sexual stereotype supportive of who you really want to be in life?

Once accepted a stereotype tends toward self-fulfillment because both you and those you interact with constantly reinforce it. You are rewarded for acting in a manner consistent with the stereotype and punished for deviating from it.

We have a duty to ourselves to look and act in a manner consistent with the achievement of the goals we want. If we want to be a farmer we should look and act like a farmer. If we want to be a doctor we should look and act like a doctor.

Are we to remain passive victims in life or are we going to do whatever must be done to achieve our goals? Are we going to take risks and project ourselves as winners?

When a crystal is struck physically or by light it may give off electricity. This is called the piezo-electric effect. Living cells give off bions when they are stressed or when they die. These bions are small particles of astral energy created from the breakdown of chemicals within the living system.

Emotional energy is one form of bion but mental energy, spiritual energy, sexual energy and physical energy are all forms of bions produced by the human body.

Each chakra center creates and functions with its own type of bion associated with specific organs of the body. Bions don’t really have their own energy. They are astral creations and draw energy from physical substances.

They also draw energy from light and from the earth. Emotions are largely produced by the digestive system in the breakdown of nutrients to create energy. Mental energy is generated from the firing of nerve synapses and depletes the body of potassium and sodium.

We experience the movement of bions within the body as emotions and other types of astral energy including thought.

The human body creates spiritual, mental, emotional, sexual and physical energy through the chemical breakdown of compound molecules and cellular tissue.

Any type of magic energy depletes the body of vital nutrients. The energy is created from the breakdown of chemical bonds in molecules stored within the cells in the body. This is why many people are so exhausted after magic workings. Their physical body has been doing all of the work. The cells are releasing the energy as bions.

There are others sources of bions as well in the environment. Burning incense, candles, or heating potions do the same thing and create bions that circulate in the room adding catalyst to the magic working. Wilhelm Reich observed that the destruction of organic matter created bions and Orgone energy.

He also observed that bions and Orgone energy clustered around living things, especially plants. These bions could be collected and their effects would be more intense. The effect of Orgone energy, bions or magic energy is the same. It acts as an accelerant and speeds up or ages what ever it comes in contact with. It will cause a chemical reaction to happen more quickly. It will cause radioactive material to decay more rapidly. It will find the weak spot or illness and attack it. It uses things up and the physical body needs to replace the depleted material.

At first there is a toxic quality to working with bions and astral energy. As the body becomes more efficient at replacing its energy reserves the toxic effect goes away and is replaced by a vitality. The vitality is increased magnetism as the physical body draws more nutrients to itself and expels toxins more easily and rapidly. Increased vitality also increases the available energy stored within the body to be used at will.

In healthy people the magic practitioner seems younger because new fresh nutrients are being drawn into the body at a faster rate than normal and waste material is effectively eliminated easily and quickly. Bions act as a tonic to keep the body healthy by making everything function at an optimum level.

The body is created to act like a sponge strongly attracting and drawing in what it needs and forcibly ejecting toxins. It needs to be emptied and it needs to be filled up again. Maximum health can be attained through hard work and exercise on a daily basis.

In magic work it speeds up the attainment of some desired object or goal. In protective magic it can neutralize toxic energy by aging it until it becomes harmless. In this manner we see that bions drain stored energy from physical objects and people to maintain their own existence.

Bions will accumulate in certain objects as well as in physical bodies. At other times they float randomly near the earth’s surface carried by the water and wind. Bions are astral formations capable of sustaining themselves by drawing energy from light and the breakdown of chemical compounds as well as drawing energy from the earth.

In practical terms the quantity of bions we have available for magic use determines the voltage and charge of our available magic energy. The type of bions determines the type of magic we will be able to perform.

Bions will simply float around us as an emotional or astral cloud unless we have an astral body developed to control and direct the flow of bions. Without an astral body we can not control these bions and make use of them. The exception to this is that our Shadow and our HGA are fully functional and independent entities with astral bodies. In the beginning it is either one of these that will make use of our magic energy. This is why an important magic task is to integrate our Shadow or HGA.

In summary God is beyond human comprehension and we can never experience God directly. But we do experience God indirectly within our world and within our physical bodies! We experience God through this inpouring of spiritual light and energy that fills us to overflowing and impels us toward intense living! It is in this intense lifestyle and in the free release and movement of these energies that we find the love of God and heavenly bliss. We find love and happiness in passing this on, in allowing these energies to move through us freely and openly.

In any case, “the Throne of God, the Holy Trinity, the Goddess” are all represented literally within each atom within our universe. This means God, the Holy Trinity and everything else is found within each cell of our physical body and literally within everything that exists! Each atom is a fountain of photon energy pouring out into us and into our world. Zero point energy is the same thing, the energy pouring forth from the nuclear center of every atom that exists.
Wilhelm Reich’s book “The Function of the Orgasm” spoke of the Emotional Plague that humanity suffers. He also spoke of his discovery of biological energy and how this blocked energy, primarily sexual energy, is responsible for most mental and emotional illness if not all mental and emotional illness in our world. He also spoke of how hopeless and frustrating it was because humanity always chose to block this energy within themselves and to give personal power away to external authorities in a death instinct. Even more interesting, he stated that his patients claimed that they felt like they were going to burst. They felt there was such a buildup of frustrated energy within themselves that they would react violently, do self harm or anything possible to find release from this terrible buildup of energy. It was simply not possible to tolerate it.

Jacob Boeheme spoke of hell in the same exact terms! He also spoke of The Wrath of God as being the lightning flash, the surge of destructive energy, that would finally flash between the two highly charged potentials when there was no other possible way of discharging the energy. He also termed The Wrath of God as being another name for Lucifer. Likewise, he spoke of heaven as a means of allowing this electrical discharge to happen more slowly, safely, and mildly and termed it “The Love of God”.

Putting this all together we find that every atom, molecule, cell, and organ within our physical body is gushing forth energy from the very core of every atom, molecule, cell and organ. While Wilhelm Reich maintained that it was sexual energy that was creating this problem, or build up of pressure, we can see that literally all kinds of energies are building up within the body, abstract spiritual energy, concrete spiritual energy, abstract mental energy, concrete mental energy, upper emotional energy, lower emotional energy, etheric energy, sexual energy and all this energy must find some way to be released! Think of the energy that a child has! We were all like that at one time! The energy just flowed from us! We had to move around, tear around, use up that energy because it was unbearable to sit still!

But our parents forced us to sit still. They forced us to repress that energy, to turn it back inside as a repression and that repressed energy became destructive. This was especially true with sexual energy, which they tried to repress from the very beginning! And sexual energy was the most powerful energy of them all.

And so we live in a world today, a world that is a hell because the energy builds up inside of us and can find no healthy release. We feel as if we will burst or kill ourselves, or someone else and the energy is discharged and distorted in perverse ways. We try to cope with this buildup of energy by repression and non-movement, activities that gradually cause our physical bodies to age, become sick, and die.

But Jacob Boehme also told us what heaven was! Heaven was the process of releasing this energy in a more gradual way, through magnetism. This means by discharging the energy from our physical bodies directly into the astral, because the astral is the universe created of magnetic flux lines. By developing our astral bodies we create the resonant circuit that allows an infinite amount of energy to flow safely between our physical body and our astral body! From this it can be seen that heaven is experienced when we have developed both our physical body and all of our astral bodies!

In doing this we have shifted from a state of hell and Lucifer like destructive discharges to that of a milder and more loving universe of magnetic attraction and repulsion. When this happens the physical world becomes a beautiful reflection of the astral worlds.

This brings us back full circle to the question of how do we create the various astral bodies which are required? As I’ve mentioned before, this happens through the bittersweet process of falling in love and falling out of love through the mingling and sharing of opposite sex energy in which the male and female aspects of our own souls become balanced and stable. This can also happen through the Tantric process known as the left-hand path.

And what about tradition? Tradition is the blueprint, or pattern that exists within the astral planes and which tries to manipulate physical reality in its own image. What has not been correctly understood is that these patterns or blueprints are “ghosts” or shadows of events that have happened in the past. After a person dies their lifetime remains in the astral behind them as a pattern or shadow. History is circular and repeats itself and these patterns repeat themselves over and over again. Tradition is simply an attempt to follow the same pattern that has been successful in the past!

But the purpose of life is to grow and become more complex, to explore all possibilities, both good and bad! The blueprint or pattern that brings salvation one day must on some future day become a prison as it is outgrown. It is the task of the hero to create a new pattern, one that has never existed before! So, in today’s world not only has life become a living hell, but the traditional way of living no longer brings salvation! A new pattern or blueprint needs to be created and has been created!

The flight from New Rome to New Seattle was long and uneventful. There had been several stop-overs at other city-states along the way. At last he dozed fitfully. The sky was getting lighter but the sun was still under the horizon when he woke up. It was about 5:30 in the morning when the airbus touched down at the terminal in New Seattle.

Tobal got off at the airbus terminal and asked directions at the information desk. He was only two miles from Old Seattle. After spending the night in the airbus the exercise and fresh air felt good. His clothing was warm enough as long as he kept moving. He had no luggage because his uncle had said he would be given everything needed at Heliopolis when he got there.

The first part of his trip was easy since New Seattle was essentially one huge indoor complex. This was common with city-states. The entire city-state was essentially one giant self-enclosed structure. Public transit was small automated air cars that took passengers to any programmed address or destination. He was going to the South Gate and punched the proper location into the control screen.

“Please fasten your seat belt,” said a pleasant mechanical voice from somewhere inside the car.

Tobal complied and the car took off smoothly entering a long corridor filled with other flying traffic. In a matter of minutes his air car touched down next to the city gates and let him out. He watched as it sped away to pick up another passenger, then shrugged his shoulders and stepped through the gate into the cold air of Old Seattle.

The light mist and fog felt chill in the pre-dawn air. He turned his collar up against the wind and fastened his light jacket a little tighter. As he walked, he buttoned the top button of his collar. The icy moisture seemed to seep into his bones. There was a dusting of freshly fallen snow on the ground and it was very quiet as the sun peeked over the distant horizon. He guessed the snow would not last very long. It was already melting. While cold, it was still much warmer than his uncle’s estate.

Old Seattle differed sharply from New Seattle. He looked around curiously as he walked along an empty street. There were individual buildings on both sides as far as he could see. New Seattle had no streets. Anti-grav technology had made ground operated vehicles obsolete over twenty years ago before he had even been born. Still here in Old Seattle there was foot traffic and the streets were kept in repair for that purpose alone. The contrast between the two cities was almost overwhelming.

New Seattle was a self-contained city-state like so many others in what was now simply the Federation. Some of the older citizens called it the “New World Order” but it was not new any longer and did not seem to contain a lot of order. There were not many people still living that remembered the pre-Federation days. Each city-state was like any other with access to many of the same resources. Most people worked from their homes in private offices or lived within walking distance of the local manufacturing plants that produced the food and material products that kept the city alive.

It was hydrogen cell technology that revolutionized the world bringing cheap energy to entire communities. Almost overnight the energy problems of the world were gone. There was abundant light, heat and electricity within small communities along with the technology to become self-supporting and self-governing. Anti-grav technology completed the isolation by making the world’s ground transport structure obsolete.

All across the Federation streets and highway systems had been torn up and properties sold or allowed to go back to nature. The majority of the world’s population now lived in elaborate complexes complete with local air terminals and food processing plants. They were self-sustaining apartments in self-sustaining complexes in self-sustaining city-states. You could find anything you wanted in your own complex or order it from the ethernet on your home computer. Hologram technology made communication and entertainment effortless. You could attend conferences, work, play games or chat with your friends through the ethernet even if they were on the other side of the world. Advanced technology had finally reached the point where no one really needed to go anywhere.

But here in Old Seattle there were still streets. Tobal had never seen a street before. It was like entering an ancient prehistoric world. In this part of the city there were actually cobblestones that were over two hundred years old. Definitely the old city was pre-Federation. The buildings were separate from each other and built of red brick or concrete. Many of the taller skyscrapers were in a process of structural collapse or in need of repair. It was the smaller buildings built of concrete and steel that seemed immune to the sands of time. They spoke of an era when life had been different, harder and more individualistic.

Ironically it was modern technology that provided the power to support life in these ancient structures. Without the abundant heat and electricity they would have long since been abandoned. It was as if people wanted to play at living in the past while keeping the niceties of the modern world at the same time.

Tobal turned down another street and old apartments loomed up silently on either side like man made canyons. The early morning sun had not made it into these dark canyons yet and he walked in shadow. His boots were muffled by the light snow that lay on the cobblestones. The uneven surface made his footing treacherous and several times he almost fell.

Rounding another corner he almost stepped on a couple of crows intently fighting over a dead animal. They hardly noticed and hopped to one side before resuming their fight over the grisly remains of a rat or a cat. It was hard to tell which.

The street split in two separate directions. A battered sign said Oak Street and 30th Ave. Going left on Oak Street he headed down a street more narrow than the others. It looked like it was not used much any more, but then they all did. Looking back he saw the crows following him. They would fly a short way, stop to watch and then fly again to catch up. Every now and then one would squawk and a fight would erupt leaving loose feathers forgotten on the snow.

Old Seattle was a noted artist’s colony. It was one of the areas where societies fringe element escaped the rigid structure of moderization. Unique products, specialty shops and services both legal and illegal were offered within the little shops that lined the streets. The owners lived above the shops and owned entire buildings. Some of the signs were broken or covered in grime and unreadable. He figured 2424 Oak St. should be a few more blocks up and on the right side of the street. A couple blocks further he found it nestled between an old bakery and a barbershop.

The dilapidated three story red brick building looked worse for wear than it’s neighbors and some of the mortar between the bricks was missing. Tobal questioned the structural integrity of the entire building. A battered sign proclaimed “Antiquities and Curiosities”. The windows on all three stories were covered with wrought iron bars that looked functional as well as ornamental. They suggested what kind of neighborhood this really was and he nervously glanced around him. The crows hopped a little closer. Stepping up to the door he saw he was too early. The closed sign hanging in the window read the shop opened at 8:00. Glancing at his watch, he realized he still had almost two hours to wait.

Leaving the shop, Tobal continued down the street until he came to a small park area and watched the sun rise over the city. He brushed snow off a battered bench and sat listening to the strange early morning sounds of this old city and watching the crows. One large crow actually flew onto the bench and turned its head looking intently at him. Tobal had the eerie feeling that the bird was intelligent. After a half-hour of sitting in the small snow covered park the sun was up and he was thoroughly chilled.

Going back to the coffee and bakery shop he ordered a cup of coffee and a raspberry scone. It was warm inside and he stayed there until 8:00 listening to the locals and watching as they eyed him curiously. If anyone thought it strange to see a dark haired eighteen year old with a scarred face wandering the streets at this time of day they kept it to themselves.

Tobal took his time and enjoyed his breakfast. There was some foot traffic in the morning streets and most of it toward the bakery. Customers would enter; stomp their snow covered boots on the floor, hang their coats or jackets on a stand and sit down to read the local paper or talk with their neighbors. Most of them looked over fifty years old and dressed in outdated clothing. They were not a part of the modern world as Tobal knew it. At 8:00 he paid for his coffee and scone and headed back to the shop.

This time there was an “open” sign hanging in the window. In better light the shop looked like a fortress. The heavy wooden door had metal bands across it for reinforcement. It looked like it could withstand a battering ram. He tested the latch and the door opened silently inward on well oiled hinges. A small bell rang as he entered.

The smell of burning incense and the glow of burning candles was completely unexpected. A dark shag carpet muffled his steps and he sneezed involuntarily as he stirred up some dust. “Antiquities and Curiosities” was not a normal shop in any sense of the term. He gazed around in awe. It was like being in a museum. The shop was large and divided into several sections, each section set up and displayed according to a historical time period.

He had been expecting to see odds and ends of junk that cluttered so many antique shops. Instead each section was divided not by year but by century. There were complete room like displays of furniture, clothing, weaponry, art, games, toys, reading materials and more. Entering into a section was like stepping into a different world.

He stepped into a display about prehistoric cavemen. There was a replica of a cave painting on a rock. The painting and rock looked like they had been hewn out of the back of a cave somewhere. There was a clay bowl and goblet, three flint knives looked sharp and fairly unused. A hand axe had been used to cut chips out of a log lying in the middle of the display. Admiring it, he picked the axe up, hefted it and gave a couple practice swings. There was a primitive energy and vitality about each item that made him instinctively want to pick it up and start using it. He just knew these items had been made to be used.

A female figure was dressed attractively in furs and armed with a bow and quiver of hand made arrows. There was a small pack on her back and a blanket robe of rabbit fur lying on the ground beside her. She had a necklace of brightly colored bird feathers around her neck and there were price tags on each item. His jaw dropped in disbelief as he looked at a few of the price tags. There was a small fortune in this one display alone.

He realized this shop must deal in specialty replicas. Perhaps theater props. Each item was extremely well made and looked real and functional. The clothing, furniture, weapons and even the leather shoes were all obviously hand crafted. Moving to other displays he could see each item of clothing was crudely woven in the old manner, hand stitched and buttons were hand made. He would have believed he was in some type of museum but no museum carried items in such a perfect state of repair and like new condition.

He wandered for an hour looking at various displays and getting an increasingly troubled feeling that something wasn’t right. He could believe one or two displays of meticulous craftsmanship and diversity. There were re-constructionists that studied the old ways of ancient civilizations and tried duplicating them. But this was different. It was as if someone had stepped back into time and brought back these items for sale in this curious shop.

That was absurd of course but the feeling of unease was growing more uncomfortable inside him. He couldn’t shake the feeling that these items were real and that was not possible. He felt a chill go up his spine. These items shouldn’t exist and this store shouldn’t exist. The knowledge and ability to create these things had vanished long ago. No people living today had the knowledge to make these things that were so exquisitely crafted.

This was not an ordinary shop. Dealing in replicas of this quality had to be very expensive and these items very hard to come by. Why would any person in today’s world want to use these old fashioned things or buy them? The only reason Tobal could think of was for theatrical props. In a flash of insight he wondered if Tavistock Educational had purchased theatrical costumes from this place to use at the Halloween dance. He winced and rapidly brought his mind back to the present.

Hold Still

Hold still, beloved, still,
Allow the kisses, lie back,
Only in stillness can God,
Reveal his miracle.
The feeling of infinity,
Of true love,
I feel the stillness climbing
Up and down from you to me.

The secret of astral vs physical first shows up at the cellular level. Somehow there is a guiding intelligence and organizational awareness surrounding each living cell. This organizing and guiding intelligence remains even when new nutrients pass into the cell and waste materials pass out.

What this means metaphysically is that something exists independent of raw physical matter. It also has the ability to detach from old matter and attach to new matter. While the cell lives this is the vital life force and the aura that surrounds it.

When the cell dies this aura or ghost moves on and is attracted to another living cell. It assists this new cell to follow its old behaviors.

In these two examples we find both living astral entities and spirit or ghost astral entities or organizing intelligences. The living astral intelligence has the sole purpose of keeping the individual organism alive. It is created from the vital life force of living things and ultimately creates the Shadow aspect or Power Animal. It is worth noting that this Shadow of vital life force can transfer itself from one cell to another in order to remain alive.

In occult terminology a shaman’s Shadow can be transmitted to an apprentice that is properly trained. The Shadow exists in the astral as living life energy.

Spirit or ghost organizing intelligences move more easily from one organism to another. They form the group soul of a species and will sacrifice the individual for the good of the collective. This holistic organizing intelligence seeks to maintain the entire ecosystem in balance so it can sustain life permanently.

It contains the wisdom of what has gone before and offers a path for new life to follow. In the individual this creates the Holy Guardian Angel aspect.

As cellular life evolved into organisms they split into male and female. The rudimentary Holy Guardian Angel aspect attached itself to male organisms and the Shadow aspect attached to female organisms. The task of the HGA was to keep the ecosystem balanced and the task of the Shadow was to create new life.

In todays world things have evolved to the point where we find the HGA and the Shadow aspects in both males and females equally. One aspect will be dominant and the other will be dormant waiting to be developed. Biblical terminology has called those with the HGA dominant Sons and daughters of God and those with the Shadow dominant Sons and daughters of Man.

Symbolically the son of God exists as the sun in our sky as it burns, transforming from hydrogen into helium and giving off light for all living creatures. It is this inpouring of light that makes life possible here on earth.

This little metaphor is not just metaphor! This scene is enacted within every atom within our universe! It exists within every molecule, within every cell, and within all living creatures! The divine light pours in and forces expansion, evolution, and growth within all that exists!

Yet, God is more than this inpouring of divine light! This inpouring of divine light must go someplace and wherever it goes is also of God.

We can also find God within every living thing! God exists within every cell of our body and within the bodies of all living things!

When we consider how God expresses itself within living things we find much the same phenomenon, an inpouring of spiritual light and energy. And just as it is with nonliving things, this incoming spiritual light and energy needs someplace to go. Every cell of our body radiates this spiritual light and energy! Living things experience this influx of energy in many ways. It can be experienced as sexual orgasm energy, fear, anger, strong emotions, happiness, love, and all other energies.

There are spiritual energies, mental energies, emotional energies and sexual energies. All of these energies are continuously pouring into our physical bodies and require some form of release! As they enter our physical bodies pressure is built up as well as stress and discomfort until we feel as if we’re going to burst. Perhaps the most important thing to consider about these energies is to not try to contain them, but to let them pass through us as quickly and effortlessly as possible!

When any of these energies build inside of us we experience discomfort and torment. In fact, in many ways the inability to release these energies is to experience hell. In like manner, as we gain the ability to release these energies and move them on we experience sensations of heaven and bliss! So it is the movement of energies through us that is healthy and the blockage of these energies within our physical bodies that produce illness, aging and death!

The most powerful way of moving these energies through the body is by strenuous physical exertion, by living life intensely and to the fullest! At the end of every day the physical body should feel drained and depleted due to the intensity of our daily activities! As we sleep during the night our bodies will once more recharge with all possible energies through this unending stream of spiritual light and energy that pours into us from the core of every cell in our bodies and from the core of every atom in our physical body! We should try to wring ourselves out like sponges every day!

If we don’t do this we become vulnerable to sickness, illness, aging and death. Yet there is more to this than meets the eye! Through intense daily living it is possible to develop our immortal souls and strengthen them with spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and sexual energies! This is God’s gift to us! By living passionately and intensely we push this physical energy through the veil into the world of spirit where it becomes astral energy. The track runner experiences a “second wind” and a weightlifter experiences the feeling of being “pumped up”! In both cases the intense generation of energy pierces the veil and allows it to enter the astral planes.

We must do the same thing with the spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and sexual energies as well!
