It is appropriate to clarify some things about   the Tantric path at this time. The Tantric path is a spiritual path of soul development. It makes use of the energy dynamics of male and female relationships. Too many people think that this path is simply about erotic lovemaking. That is absolutely false. It is about the development of the soul and its powers. To consider this path to be anything else is a grave error. This is also a very functional path, perhaps the most functional path of spiritual  development that exists!

As mentioned previously the male and the female each follow different paths even though they are working together in a partnership. These paths are complementary to each other and also true opposites of each other. It is common to believe that each person has a similar experience to the other or that their understandings are similar to each other. This is far from the truth! Experience will show that the male and female can arrive at similar beliefs and viewpoints, but the way they arrive at those similar beliefs or viewpoints has nothing in common with each other.

Because we are talking about nonphysical energies, most of the activity happens in the nonphysical planes, the astral planes. When we encounter another person in a dream or vision we can recognize the truth of that contact by the instance of fear that shoots through us at the recognition of something  or someone that is not self! Up to this point both the male and female are exchanging energies that are mostly fantasy. His or her daydreams about the other person become more real than he or she is. It is what they spiritually represent to each other that they fall in love with. They are falling in love with an ideal and not with a real person. This works both ways.

But there is a point in the relationship when the energies pierce through all the protective layers   of illusion and each meets the other energetically in truth for the very first time. This is a very frightening experience because it is so intimate and sacred and the vulnerability of each confronts the genuine possibility of becoming  hurt. It is both terrifying and exciting. It stirs both of their emotions wildly. How can there be so much energy between them? The power of the energy exchange seems that it threatens to destroy them both. In addition there is an a  alien feeling about the other person’s energy. Something does not seem right and they both realize that they don’t really know each other at all.  They don’t know if they can trust each other.

This is the time in so many relationships when each person needs to back off a little and process what has happened up to this  point and where they really want to go with  this relationship. I would like to stress that the stages I have described so far are very normal and healthy love relationships. That is because the Tantric path is a very normal and healthy spiritual path when understood correctly. What makes the Tantric path special is the speed at which soul development  can progress when both partners are working with these energies in full awareness, especially sexual orgasm energies.

To put this bluntly, any relationship with the opposite sex that strikes a spark or consists of a genuine soul connection causes love to grow between the two people  And the growth of this love develops their souls. Each soul becomes larger, wiser, and more balanced because of the experience. In the beginning things are hit and miss resulting in a lot of errors and false starts. But each partner becomes a true teacher for the other and allows glimpses into what the opposite sex is really like.  With each experience the capacity to love grows.

As he gets to know her better he becomes infatuated with her. Mentally he tries to understand her, but she is beyond logic and reason. Each insight that he gets about her only brings up more questions. She is a great mystery, and full of contradictions. She is good, she is evil, she is life, she is death, she is sin, she is salvation, she is illusion, she is reality. She becomes the  center of his world and the focus of his energies.

His intellect is inadequate and he tries to intuitively understand her instead. He is in a complete intellectual fog and at her mercy. Words can’t express his feelings toward her. He finally gives up trying to understand her and simply enjoys her company.

Her body rejoices with eagerness. She feels that everything is as it should be. She is a physical goddess. Her body obeys her every command. She feels stability and peace. She has no expectations of him at all. Everything is new and fresh. He fills her entire life.   He brings in needed excitement that she has been missing in her life.

She feels how his energy influences her sensually. Her emotions are becoming aroused. There is great joy  and freedom  in exploring these new sensations. She begins to identify more and more with her physical body as she sees its effect on him. Her body cannot be wrong, cannot do wrong. It has its own intelligence and can deal with anything that comes along. He is wrapped around her little finger. She uses her body deliberately to get reactions from him.  She learns body language and makes herself beautiful for him.

The  nonphysical energetic dynamics between the two of them are allowing each one to develop parts of their souls that they never knew existed or could exist. Together they   begin  a spiritual journey that allows both of them to grow and become more than what they were by themselves.  This is what the Tantric path is really about!

Males and females are true opposites of each other, and their individual paths of soul development will be different as well.  These differences begin at the biological level and continue to the highest regions of the soul. Yet the very nature of the Tantric path is to develop the male and female aspects within each individual soul.

These two opposite paths of soul development both appear reasonable and logical and we are confronted with paradox. Both views extend from the lowest levels of awareness to the highest levels of spirituality. Both are natural opposites of the other. I will go so far as to claim that while  males are intensely drawn toward sensual experiences they will ultimately default to a spiritual or intellectual view of life. They will be drawn to the female  path and experience it briefly, but they cannot sustain contact with it.

In the same way females will be intensely drawn to a spiritual and intellectual view of life but default to sensual and biological experiences. They will be drawn to the male path and experience it briefly, but cannot sustain contact with it. They will lose  interest in the constant head tripping of the male.

Gradually each person balances both the male and female aspects of their own soul and becomes able to walk both  paths comfortably.

We form relationships with the opposite sex to help us grow as individuals and as love partners. The dynamic energy exchange between these two paths propel us to become whole and complete. The male and female agree to work together as a team to accomplish their desired goals. Since they are meeting primarily on the mental  and heart planes it is vital they have as many interests in common as possible. These common interests will help to bridge the vast gap that will face them later and strengthen their sense of  common purpose. They are drawn together through a magnetic attraction called love. Romantic love relationships are sacred. Their combined energy is truly magical.

The man should have a very idealistic and spiritual nature. He will be using his male energy as a catalyst to lift her spiritual nature to those spiritual heights where she can contact the divine goddess within.

When this contact is made she becomes the goddess and  by transforming his generated energy causes it to manifest objectively as healing energy or else she directs it for stated magical purposes. He has the surplus energy that she needs to achieve her goals. Alone  his energy is wild and undirected. Together they can achieve miracles.  They need each other.

Using male and female energy correctly is a form of Tantric sex magic. This may or may not involve sex or orgasm. What is required is foreplay and sexual tension which is prolonged until intense sexual, emotional, and spiritual energies are generated between the two of them.

Through physical contact these energies  enter into the females aura and stabilize. In essence any type of male/female interaction can generate sparks. This is the spark of sexual tension and excitement.  It is the spark of love!

At first the male struggles to be both body and spirit. He strives to become one with the Christ spirit within him while still maintaining an awareness of his physical body and his physical world. He looks at her and recognizes the goddess that she is. He sees her as a  divine  spiritual being, places her on a pedestal and mentally kneels before her. He has expectations and standards for her that are so high only a goddess could fulfill them. He does not feel worthy of her love.

Mentally she can identify with the goddess within herself and opens to embrace his energy. This is true goddess love. She acts through instinct and recognizes the sensations  his energy produces in her physical body. All options are explored. She allows this to happen. She loves  herself and the entire world. She accepts his worship of her as natural. She is the goddess. His love makes her feel lovable.  His purpose is to give her his love.

In this way the basic energy  dynamic between males and females can be clearly seen for the first time. He is like the sunlight which shines through the glass prism and creates a rainbow of colors. She is like the glass prism which embraces the sunlight and creates the rainbow of colors.   There is a great mystery here which will be unveiled later.
