Working With Sexual Energy Part 3

The dream interaction with your “soul mate” in the first soul mate cycle marks the beginning of the grade of Magus and the struggle to complete the Great Work. These soul mate interactions create phase-locked astral energy that is extremely powerful.

When this contact is made a new “resonant” circuit is formed between you and your soul mate that nothing can interfere with. At this point you can begin living the life that you truly want to live in that the fixed etheric levels have been purged of oppositional and negative influences.

It means that you can hold these negative influences at bay indefinitely because you are stronger than they are. It’s marked by a dormant period in physical life where everything seems to be at a stalemate. You can’t get ahead but you won’t back down to the opposition either. All of your energy is spent in holding these oppositional forces at bay. With each lunar cycle you make slow gains and increases in self-empowerment. The opposition becomes less and you become stronger.

The entire process is completely automatic and requires only a regular input of all types of energy to ensure total success by anyone. In fact, this process will also work with the spiritual energies and the “soul mate” cycle without the addition of the sexual energies but it will take a lot longer because spiritual energy is not as dense and heavy as sexual energy.

There is a real problem with “phase-locked” astral creations that must be clearly understood. They will resist every possible effort to become physical events and objects. This is why this is called the Great Work. To bring these astral creations into physical existence requires an unlimited source of energy and the will to go against the will of the entire world. It involves forcing and racking the astral planes until they have no choice but to give you the things that you want.

Opposites attract each other and you will automatically attract astral events to you that you don’t want and you will repel the events that you do want. The astral events that you don’t want will be attracted to the “fixed” Akashic records to become physical events in this lifetime.

The astral events that you want will repel themselves from the “fixed” Akashic records and form the basics of your next lifetime, the one after this one! You can have these things in your next life after you die! This is the way the process works unless the system is forced into giving you the things you want now in this lifetime.

This is why it is easier to prevent something negative from happening by forcing it out of the fixed etheric planes than it is to impel a created astral event into physical reality. It is easier to destroy than it is to create!

In the same manner the good life experiences that you now enjoy were earned and placed into the “fixed” Akashic records only after the death of your past life. That is the only reason that anything good is happening in your life at all!

Obviously this is not acceptable to us because we do not want to wait until our next lifetime for the things that we want now! There are three things that we can do to get the things that we want in this lifetime.

The first is known as “black” magic because we take the astral creations that someone else has made and make them our own. Because these astral creations are not made from our own energy they are not repelled and will enter into the “fixed” Akashic record to become physical reality during this life time for us.

There are important limitations to this type of magic. Because these astral creations are not our own they will never truly satisfy us. We will never be able to get what we really want out of life. In addition, we are causing pain and injury to the ones that are victimized by us and we are neglecting our future lifetime.

This path will cause our next lifetime to be without any of the things that we really want. Instead it will be an entire lifetime of tremendous hardship and suffering. For these reasons alone it is unacceptable to follow this path.

The second possibility is that of “group” magic. This type of magic is very effective in bringing astral events into physical reality but it also has its limitations. The way it works is that the other members of the group will energize and create things astrally for you that you desire to have. Since it was created by others it will not repel from you and will enter into the “fixed” Akashic records to become a physical event. If you do what society wants you to do, then society will reward you in many ways. It is the path of the conformer to the demands of the collective.

In the same manner you will energize and create astral events for others that they desire and help them to become physical reality. This is most common in prayer and healing circles where the group gives its energies to other members of the group.

While this method does bring good positive things into your life they will never really be just exactly what you wanted. It will always involve the compromise between what you wish and what the collective wants of you. Your true wish and true desire will never be fulfilled in the way that you want it to. You must always settle for second best and for less than you really wanted. For this reason this method is best left for emergencies and for a general willingness to help others with good will. It can’t hurt anything.

OAK Healing And Prosperity Circle

What I’m about to share is the most powerful and magical thing I have ever experienced. A small group of people that have linked together as described in the OAK 3rd Degree meditation sit in a circle facing each other.

The leader begins the meditation by asking everyone to visualize bringing the light down into the center of the circle just like they bring the light down to form a ball of energy above their heads in the other meditation. But this time they are all bringing the light down to form a ball of energy in the middle of the circle. You can move the energy ball up until the energies of all participants click together. Then you can bring it down further. You can feel the energy of the entire group fuse at the crown chakra level. It fills the entire circle with that energy.

Then you ask everyone to begin working with a second energy ball in the middle of the head and repeat the process. Have each group member help the other group members by lending them energy. Then fuse that particular energy together within the entire circle. You can feel when it happens. Then merge both energies so that they are one energy.

Continue this process moving downward and including the energies of each chakra fusing all of them into one large energy. Remember the chakra at the feet and finally send the energy down into the core of the earth. Continue filling the earth with this energy until it over flows and continue pouring in the groups energy until it rises back up and returns back to Source. This creates a powerful pillar of light/energy and opens a powerful portal that envelopes the entire group.

It feels very beautiful and loving and healing. The energy is very blissful to experience.

Then go around the circle and have each person request that healing energy be sent to a loved one. The entire group sends the energy as requested. After everyone has requested a healing for a loved one go around the group again and have everyone request a blessing from Source, something that is desired or needed and all group members focus energy for the manifestation of that goal.

When everyone is done give thanks and end the circle. This is done by simply grounding the energy. Working with spiritual energy this way is very different from working with earth energies. I have never experienced discomfort from working with these energies in this way because they are self grounding. None of the circle members has ever experienced discomfort either although some have experienced out of body episodes because of the intensity of the energy.

What the entire group is doing is linking vertically and horizontally and acting to channel from Source to Gaia’s core. This creates a portal so strong that once we were outside and could hear the wind blowing but couldn’t feel it. No ritual was involved.

New Organic Gnosticism Facebook Group Formed

After thinking things over I’ve decided to start an Organic Gnosticism Facebook group. It is a closed group so if you are interested you will need to type Organic Gnosticism into the search bar. Then you will need to request to join and I will let you in.

This is a group for people that share some of my own interests and just want to socialize, share their own thoughts and stories and get to know each other. It is also a place where you can ask me questions to help clarify some of my posts if you want. So this is a place for all kinds of discussion related in some way to Organic Gnosticism.

In the last few months I’ve posted over 450 posts on the core essence of the Western Mystery Tradition as I understand it and framed it in modern concepts. That was mainly to introduce myself and let people get to know me a bit and what I believe in. I’ve wanted to have a safe place for open discussion and the sharing of personal experience for several years but it has never happened. I want to connect with people like me and you are very hard to find!

Too Many Souls Not Enough Bodies

Tonight we are going to talk about the soul. The creation of the soul and how there are too many souls and not enough bodies to go around! When self-awareness or the sense of self, the ego becomes stable enough and integrated to the point where it no longer identifies with the physical body, It is able to exist after the death of the physical body in a limited sense and that’s part of what we are going to talk about. That’s what the mystery schools discovered. That was the byproduct of the invention of reading and writing that I’ve mentioned in my last few posts.

Now this new born soul, watcher self or Observer self may identify itself as an individual soul, it may identify as part of a collective group soul or if it’s not strong enough it can still identify as a reincarnating ego or higher self that holds the fragments of the self together enough to go from lifetime to lifetime.

The soul needs a physical body or it will begin to fade away. It might exist for thousands of years, but it will gradually begin to fade away and return to the original photon state. The connection of awareness with the physical body creates a resonant circuit and it feeds the physical body which actually creates the soul and supports the soul. The soul in return supports the physical body. They create a circuit. They need each other.

Now there are not enough physical bodies in the universe for the number of souls that require them. That’s because there’s not enough life in the universe and that is why life is so sacred. It’s why earth is such a special place because there is so much abundance of life here on earth. We want to keep it that way! Life has evolved in other places in the universe and is still evolving but these places are finite and limited. Much life has been destroyed.

We share this world with our space brothers and sisters, alien souls that did not evolve on our planet, but evolved on other planets. Most of their home planets are now dead and do not have life upon them, and that’s part of the problem. Their home planets became lifeless when they ascended. Many of these souls did not understand the need for physical life, the need to have a physical body, the need for that reciprocal relationship and they allowed that life to die. There are so many of these life forms, these souls.

Now they tell us to leave our physical bodies as fast as we can. They say that eventually we must all return to Source from which we came. And this is what is really sinister, they tell us that over eons and over thousands of years our souls will gradually return to Source. But that return to Source actually means that our souls are going to dissolve into nothingness.

That’s not a good thing and that’s not what Source intends for us! But that’s what their message is. By evolving to the point of leaving the physical body behind they have scorned the importance of having a physical body and it is coming back to bite them.

There is one group of pre-existing souls that was present at the birth of our planet, and they have guided and directed the evolution of life upon this planet since the very beginning. They’ve been called the fallen angels, and they have been incarnated into all of the lifeforms that now exist on Gaia.

They’ve embodied the plant life. They’ve embodied the simple animal life. They’ve evolved along with every form of life present upon earth and acted as oversouls or guiding souls. But the simple life upon Gaia evolved as well and followed its own evolutionary process to the point where it became human. This simple life became human and did not have a strong enough sense of self, a strong enough sense of ego to be fully conscious and fully individual.

But they were beginning to and that’s the point when our space brothers and sisters came. When these primitive first humans began to gain the ability of self-awareness for the first time the alien souls of our space brothers and sisters began incarnating into physical bodies. For the first time these human bodies could support their own higher awareness.

I’ve talked about these two groups of humans that originated from our space brothers and sisters and they are alien souls. They are the rational atheists or collectivists that belong to a hive mind and to a group soul. They don’t have any concept or awareness of the spiritual or metaphysical side of things because it doesn’t exist for them, Their sense of identity is identified not with themselves, but as member of the group mind.

The other group of souls that began incarnating into primitive human bodies were what I call the social enforcers or traditionalists. They came in with individual souls and with a superior sense of self and strong ego. They dominated the weaker humans. They wanted to create a master slave relationship with these young humans and they did.

The more highly evolved group, the original fallen angels tried to minimize that effect as much as possible because they understood the importance and the sacredness of life.

But the social enforcers did not recognize the sacredness of life and their whole message was one of anti-life, death and destruction. Leave the physical body and go to the spirit world of heaven. Deny the physical body and the organic wisdom hidden deeply within the DNA.

Life was cheap with these people. And in today’s world there’s a war going on because this particular group of people is intent upon destroying the existing life upon this planet! That cannot be allowed to happen. In contrast, the other collectivist group of rational atheists are not that great either. At least they want to have life on this earth, and they want to have it in good terms.

The original fallen angels have an alliance with the collectivists even though it is not always in the best interests of the original simple folk, the people of heart, the people that are just developing their sense of self for the first time. Their new born souls also wish for life and for abundance and they don’t want to be caught up in this destructive thought, this destructive worship of death.

This anti-life self destructive cycle is currently trying to work itself out. We are in a battle for Gaia and for the survival of our souls.

Right now the anti-life forces really need to be identified so that they can be confronted and stopped.

Living A Balanced Life

Our individual needs are complex and each person is different from their neighbor. Still we can simplify our needs into broad general categories.

The important concept is to live “balanced” lives, giving attention to each major area. If we devote too much time and energy to one area, the areas we have neglected will create problems for us.

The ancients used astrology and the twelve houses to categorize our individual needs.

They are:

Ego and self
Money and possessions
Travel
Family
Romance and Love
Work
Partnership and marriage
The Occult and death
Higher Education and Law
Our public image
Our hopes, dreams and wishes
Our restrictions

My apologies to any astrologers for mistakes I might make in this. It is simply a map or grouping of life’s major areas. We need to pay attention to each area in a balanced way if we want to be successful in life.

I hope to create a forum or discussion group on Steemit called Organic Gnosticism where people can discuss the wisdom of life and these 12 areas to offer a well-rounded experience and fun place to visit. This should be in place by the first of the year.

This helps to ensure vital areas are covered for a balance approach to living. In addition to devoting time to each of these areas there are seven other personal areas to be developed. The most obvious deals with our physical need to stay alive in physical bodies. This includes body awareness, awareness of the environment through the physical senses, our ability to live in the moment. It also deals with the ability to stay alive.

Our physical and etheric bodies require nutrition and exercise to remain strong and healthy. There is a requirement to “live in the present moment” and develop these needs to the fullest capacity. It is through aerobic exercise we develop our ability to manifest our dreams in physical reality. There is nothing magical about this.

We have our sexual needs and instinctual drive to perpetuate the human race through reproduction. This requires us to openly confront our sexual needs and interact with a partner in order to fulfill them. Repression of the sexual drive has caused death and perversion. Feelings of guilt and shame have made something beautiful and sacred seem dirty and ugly. We need to cultivate healthy attitudes about sexuality by finding an appropriate partner.

Joy, laughter, music and creativity are emotions that make life rich and rewarding. These are feelings that make life worthwhile. Have we set aside time to play each day?

Follow the way of our heart. What do we stand for? What things are sacred and make us who we are. What concepts and values define us and how others to see us. We need to believe in who we are and what we stand for. We need to believe in ourselves and in our ability to achieve personal happiness. There can be no compromise because we need to live with ourselves and the voice of our own conscience.

In communicating with others we learn we are not alone in our experience. Our ability to learn from others and to learn from our own mistakes allows us to progress and develop in life. It’s good to learn social skills and teach others what we know. We learn from others what we need as well.

We all have glimpses of insight that involve a “knowing” and perceiving of “archetypal” reality. It is through these intuitive “flashes” that our internal authority will reveal personal truth. These intuitive “flashes” form our personal paradigm or view of reality if we have enough of them and trust in them.

It is our personal view of reality that determines our physical actions and how we attempt to fulfill our needs. We do what we think is right, even if it is wrong. The more we listen to our internal authority, the more we will do the right thing.

It helps to remember we are all brothers and sisters, common members of the human race. We can’t hurt someone else without hurting ourselves. We are a part of the earth and what we do has purpose and is important.

Each and every day we should exercise our physical body, devote time to our primary relationships, play and have fun, do or read something inspiring. We can challenge our intellect by learning something new. Meditate and commune with our inner authority and lastly, reflect on the unity of all things and how each has it’s own place and time.

Working With Sexual Energy Part 2

Entry into the solar and lunar cycles establishes contact with one individual that will act as a “soul mate” and replace this mixed opposite sex energy with pure opposite sex energy. This dream connection will establish astral bodies that are “pure” and permanently activated.

A soul mate is described as someone whose energy is of the same frequency as your own and is able to “phase-lock” with your own energy. When your energy “phase-locks” with your soul mates energy astral creations will also be “phase-locked” and very stable. In effect, for the male one power source continues as “light” and the other “earth” power source establishes itself as dream contact with a physical female that he may or may not know. This female taps into the “earth” energies at the frequency needed and has a surplus that she gives to him.

For the female the process is reversed in that her source of “earth” power remains the same but dream contact is established with a physical male who in turn provides the “light” power source of the proper frequency for her use.

What is happening is that you are being given access to non-spiritual opposite sex energies via dream contact. A person will probably share energies with several “soul mate” type encounters. This as a type of rough draft, first draft, final copy, and revised edition where one “soul mate” at a time is contacted and as much is done as possible.

It appears to go through a cycle for each main type of energy. The first dealing with abstract spiritual concepts and the cosmic cycle. The second and third dealing with mental energies, global and international events. The fourth and fifth dealing with emotional energies and personal issues. The sixth and seventh dealing with the etheric energies needed in establishing the causal link that will allow you to achieve physically that which you have astrally created. Each cycle is personally empowering and creates a “future” for you.

Each cycle involves serious disruptions of the “fixed” etheric levels, but each time the disruption is less and acts as a minor fine tuning that corrects and alters key areas of your life that are already embedded within the “fixed” etheric levels and your “future”. These types of astral creations will resist almost all efforts by others to alter them and will belong exclusively to whoever created them. At some future time they will eventually become physical events for whoever created them.

It is assumed that anyone who has worked through the exercises of chapter four successfully has attained to a connection with such a “soul mate” and has become aware of the influence of the lunar and solar cycles. Such a person has crossed the Great Abyss and has attained the Grade known as Magister Tempi. They are now a “babe of the abyss”. Much of the inner work has been done and the various astral bodies have been activated with spiritual energy.

Magical and mystical schools will have their students study obscure and difficult material for years. They will teach methods of meditation and ritual that are designed to gradually bring students to this point. Many of these students will never achieve the grade Magister Templi. The techniques given in chapter five will allow anyone to achieve this level safely in as little as six months!

Once a person is opened to the lunar and solar cycles as described above there is no need for further instruction because the individual Master Within will teach, direct, and guide that person. His or her eventual progress and development is assured. These greater cycles will take over the individual’s development. O. A. K. shows the shortest possible way to achieve this grade without the superfluous aspects that characterize most of these schools.

This is possible largely because of an understanding of chaos theory and how the energy dynamics really work. In the old schools many of the subjective experiences were attributed to different causes and efforts were expended that were contradictory in nature. What happened was that the student put out the energy and effort and gradually developed in spite of all that these schools could throw at them. Mastery of materials allowed the buildup of energy development required. As long as the energy escaped through some form of fuzzy thinking the energy could not buildup and development could not proceed to the next stage.

O. A. K. has a minimum of material to learn and is easily graspable. Personal time and energy are not spent learning dogmatic material but instead applied toward plugging the holes in one’s own personal philosophy of life and integrating with physical reality. This represents self-actualization at its highest peak of attainment.

OAK 3rd Degree Free Lord And Free Lady

There are only 3 degrees in the OAK system and this describes the final steps. There will be one more post that describes a healing and prosperity circle where small groups of people can work together magically for various purposes.

The OAK Energy Ball Meditation connects a person to Source energies in a very powerful way. This connection with Source allows one to channel an infinite amount of spiritual energy into themselves and into the earth. This spiritual Source energy is different from kundalini energy, but both are very attracted to each other. Kundalini energy is organic life force energy and Source energy is photon energy.

The OAK Energy Ball Meditation opens an energetic pathway through the person from the highest levels down to the lowest levels where it contacts the kundalini energy and forcefully combines with it. So the conclusion of the OAK Energy Ball Meditation leaves off at bringing spiritual Source energy down to the earth or bringing fire down from heaven.

After completing the OAK Energy Ball Meditation tap into the spiritual Source energy and let it pour through you down the spine and into the core of the earth. You can feel this energy pouring down through you. Keep this connection open with the intent to fill the entire earth to overflowing with this energy. It may take a long time but the earth will fill up with this energy and you will feel it starting to back up into your body again. Continue pouring Source energy into the earth and force this overflow energy back up your body, through the various chakras and then out the top of the head at the crown chakra. Sense this energy go back into the light, back to Source, where it originally came from.

What you have just done is create a two way circuit for spiritual Source energy that connects your soul to both Source and Gaia or earth. This is the completion of the OAK 3rd degree.

Linking with another person is much the same. You both sit facing each other and do the OAK Energy Ball Meditation together so that an energetic portal is activated. Then one person initiates the other by placing their hands over the head of the other person and pouring Source energy down into that person and through that person into the core of the earth. Once more let that energy fill up the entire earth and begin to back up. Continue pouring Source energy into the person until it rises back up through their body, out their crown chakra and back to Source. You can tell when this is finished. Then the person just initiated repeats the process to the other person in a joint initiation and linking. This creates a permanent soul bond between the two individuals where they can energetically assist each other in time of need or in magical workings.

The development of the soul and its powers consists of the creation of all 118 sparks of awareness, one for each possible element. As such, each spark of awareness is the same as any other spark of awareness and it takes the same amount of time and energy to develop a spark of abstract mental energy as it does to create a spark of etheric energy. All a person can do is generate the energy to create one divine spark of awareness at a time.

This development can be focused as in philosophical study or working out at the gym or it will automatically find it’s own proper place one divine spark at a time. These OAK initiations can open a person up to Source and link people together so this process is faster and more powerful, but in the end each person must physically generate the energy for all 118 divine sparks to complete their own soul body and half of that energy must come from opposite sex partners in one way or another.

Gaia Ascension Update Resolution Of Energies

I’ve been enjoying the four day weekend and thought I would spend some time catching up on Gaia’s ascension. I checked out my usual information sources and to my annoyance couldn’t find anything interesting or useful. So I decided to check things out for myself. I’m normally a step ahead of the channelers anyway since I function on the lower planes and they don’t.

Everything was energetically stuck! Gridlock everywhere! Now one of the things I have issues with is gridlock. Something’s got to give and I can usually make something give when I put my mind to it. So I’m messing around in the astral pushing and pulling and prying around. I was also asking for intel and updates on what was going on with Gaia’s ascension. Not getting much for answers I shifted to checking in on my own posting activities to see what affect they were having in the big picture of things.

I noticed the energies going out like a tentacle and then realized it was a worm hole that was plugged by some black energy which I tried to eject. This is all basic shaman work by the way. The black energy became hard and shiny like a gemstone and wouldn’t eject. It remained embedded within the lighter astral substance. As things became clearer and more in focus I realized that it was like a city or a dome that contained a city beneath it. It was a protected space.

Now I never got the impression of it being bad even though it was black. Pure black energy is one of the energies that I work with. I’m going to back up a bit and explain that when I push and shove like that I’m pouring Source energy into something so that the vibrations rise enough so that something happens. Basically forcing a resolution but not really taking sides, just allowing the rise of vibrations to do what it needs to do. There are times like this one when I don’t understand right away what is going on until the energies clear things up.

So this round black gemstone like substance was not being ejected with the rise of vibrations but becoming more firmly embedded within the astral substance and becoming more clearly defined. That’s when I realized that the black energy represented my own soul group, those fallen angels that have graduated, ascended and returned to Source bringing their pure black earthly energies with them!

As things fell into place I realized that the gridlock was broken. What had caused the grid lock was the resistance of the light workers to the dark but pure energies of the former fallen angels. The light workers didn’t realize that we were all on the same side but as the vibrations kept increasing things fell into their rightful places.

The former fallen angels who had returned to Source were energetically balanced and capable of existing at far higher vibrations than the light workers who were more polarized. My soul group was taking its rightful place in the ascension line up! The end of my vision showed the end of that particular conflict.

I can only summarize by saying this vision showed that my posts were being successful in reaching out to my own soul group and helping them through the ascension process!

Early Church Views Toward Women

Today we are going to talk about the views of the early Church toward women. But first a little note about the early goddess religions that were mystical in nature and balanced between male and female. They began to be demonized and the early Church began to consider them satanic. Now you’re not going to believe what I’m about to say so I will just quote it. These are quotations from the early Church fathers and their attitudes toward women. [My translation from the German]

“Up to this time Satan as the antichrist had not been born. The evil God was dual in nature. Satan as father, Satan as Samyasa, Satan as poet and philosopher, lived in the proud all knowing and all powerful cast of the Magi. He lived in the silent mysteries of the Chaldean temples and his priests were the hakamim (physicians), the khartumim (magicians), the kasdim and the gazrim (astrologers).

This Satan lived in the doctrines of Mazdeism and it’s children, the Magi, were the great protectors of the sacred flame that came down to them from heaven. Satan also lived in Ahura Mazda, the good God, that taught Zarathustra the secrets of the Haoma plant and in the Egyptian God, Thoth, Trimegistos, who wrote the secret knowledge down into 42 books and taught his chosen ones the important parts of the body. The terrible Hecate shared the gift of magical visions and workings with her chosen ones, as well as the gift of the invisible death stroke.

But besides Satan as Thoth and Satan as Hecate, there lived on the earth. Satan as Satyr, Satan as Pan and Satan as phallus. He was the God of the instincts and carnal lust and was equally revered by the highest in spirit as well as the lowest. He was the inexhaustible source of life’s joy, the enthusiasm and the ecstasy. He taught women the arts of seduction and allowed men to double their sex drive and satisfy their lusts. He reveled in colors, invented the flute and set the muscles into rhythmic motion until a holy ecstasy enveloped the heart and the sacred phallus inseminated the fertile womb with its abundance.

Pan was Apollo then and Aphrodite at the same time. He was the God of the home hearth as well as of the bordello. He was the author of schools of philosophy. He built museums and glorious temples. He taught medicine and mathematics while at the same time, his temple in Astarteion was an immense bordello. The priestesses at Astarteion practiced the sexual arts and over the long years learned every imaginable means of sexual gratification.

Around this time, around the time of Tiberius, the great migration of the gods to Rome began. It was a time of the highest refinement and aristocratic enjoyment of life. The good God that had until then remained enthroned in his invisible kingdom of indolence and pleasure decided that the measure of sins had become too great and so he sent his son to earth, that he might make clear to the offspring of the bad God his dreary truth of the invisible worlds.

And he came to earth, this son of the good God, and revealed himself at first to the poor, the oppressed, the slaves and the day workers that had never tasted the holy joys of Pan.

Why trouble yourselves over your daily bread? Who dresses the lilies in the most beautiful colors compared to which scarlet and brocade are only empty rags? Who nourishes the birds that neither sow nor reap? Why do you strive after worldly things that will perish? What value is your pride when the highest on the earth will become the lowest in the kingdom of heaven? And what of your carnal desire, isn’t it the gateway to hell?

Oh, carnal desire, most especially carnal desire, the seat of all the passions, the inexhaustible source of life’s joy, the will to eternal life. It had to be destroyed so the kingdom of the invisible could take over the earth.

The Master said that a man had already defiled a woman when he looked upon her with lust. The disciples went much further. St. Cyprian said of the girl that was created in such a way that she excited a sigh of love from a man- that she was shameless, and if she allowed anyone to burn with lust for her- even unknowingly- then she was no longer a virgin.

“Woman! What do you and I have in common with each other?” asked the Master. The disciples went far beyond the Master.

Tertullian wrote “You are the portal to the devil.”

“You are the destroyer of the tree.”

“You are the first sinner against divine law.”

“You are the one that persuades those that do not wish to turn to the devil.”

“Everything evil comes from woman,” moaned St. Hieronymus. Yes, he even proclaimed that woman was not created in the image of God because the Holy Book said nothing about the soul of woman at the creation of the female.

The good God of the invisible hated earthly beauty. He hated everything holy that Satan as pan revealed and celebrated. He taught the transitory nature of the world and what was right. The smallest revolt of the flesh was a sin that had to be punished with long years of penance.

Tertullian raged with fanatical hatred against every purple ribbon that women sewed into their clothing. Lactantius cursed the poets and philosophers for dragging innocent souls into ruin. Paintings were destroyed, “That which grows naturally is the creation of God, everything man-made is the work of the devil.” Theater and the circus became “inventions of the devil”.

Yes, the holy fathers themselves warned of the colors of the flowers with which the demon, the evil enemy, clothed himself in color and splendor.

Isaurius, the Iconoclast, competed with Gregory the Great in the destruction of artistic images. Theodosius II had every Temple destroyed and crosses erected on top of them. They destroyed the most majestic poetic works with disastrous falsifications or annihilated them completely. The diabolist Cyprian taught that various works of the demon were hidden in poems.

The priestesses of Aphrodite became whores that anyone could pelt with filth, and love, love became God’s love! “Vanquish love, vanquish the devil!”. Everything natural was forbidden, especially the healing powers of nature. God sent illness into the world as a way to allow man to atone for a portion of his sins while still here on earth. It was a sin to frustrate this decree of God. At best, exorcisms were still allowed, not to heal a disease, but instead only to demonstrate the triumphant power of good over evil.

“The demon is everywhere.” According to Hieronymus. Even the air is full of trembling demons that scream and wail over the death of the old gods. The demon is hidden in every flower, in every tree, that brings joy, fertility, wealth and beauty. He brings the day as Lucifer and closes it as Venus who brings voluptuous lewd dreams.

The first century only knew one religion, the battle against the demon.

But that battle was not easy. In its fanatical lunacy the Church threw itself against the deepest and most sacred bonds that united man to the cosmic. It forcefully tore man loose from nature, isolated him, and suspended him between heaven and earth. The mysterious rapport that the naked soul of man had with the soul of ALL became completely separate from the brain and was declared satanic, a deception of Satan.

Ancient man had stood in an intimate relationship with nature. They lived directly in and with nature. They were a part of it, were one of nature’s nerves that sounded at the smallest change in the environment. And if all the inventions of the human spirit were only organic projections, then the power of every polytheistic cult to bless and destroy was an organic projection as well. Just as the soul was a mechanism of the body that looked out from the inside of it and projected out into the world, nature revealed itself to the heathen cults in powerful symbols.

In a confused battle the church destroyed one by one the veins, through which the blood of the earth flowed in man. It destroyed the unconscious natural selection process of nature that expressed itself in external beauty, strength and nobility. It defended everything that nature wanted to eliminate, that which was so powerfully repulsive, filth, ugliness, disease, the crippled, and the castrated. The Church would have loved it if everyone was castrated, the light extinguished and the entire earth allowed to be consumed with acid rain. It’s only desire, its burning request, was the ardent wish that the recently promised Day of Judgment would finally come at last.”

The Balance Of Life

There should be a balance to our lives. Everything is where it should be within our environment. The door we must open lies within our reach if we can only discover where it is.

Where ever it is we want to go, our starting point is in the same room we are in right now. There is an action we can take that will alter our life. That action is a new action we have not taken before and we probably don’t know what that action is. That action might be a small simple action but it will have tremendous consequences on the rest of our life.

Most of the time it comes out of our blind spot and we only stumble upon it by accident. Many actions are like walking on a treadmill. We put out effort and energy but don’t get any place. When we do the wrong actions we don’t get anywhere.

When we do the right actions our lives are changed forever. Correct actions are accumulative and empower us over time. Good friends can see the things we can’t. They will help us if we let them. One secret is closure. When we start something we must finish it or the energy we have already spent remains unfocused and acts as a drain on our energy reserves. Instead of walking on an endless treadmill we can break our actions down into specific physical tasks that can be completed with closure.

Completing something gives us energy to start new projects. Completing brings energy back into our lives. If we don’t finish we never get the energy back. During each day set aside a portion of time to work for specific future goals. In performing these tasks our efforts take on added power and momentum. At first perhaps very little can be done, in time more and more can be accomplished.

Effort toward goals is cumulative and will grow in time. We progress in life through modest accumulated effort and not through heroic one time efforts. This has been one of the most difficult lessons I have had to learn. I have always wanted to do the heroic and not deal with the day to day realities. This reluctance to deal with the day to day realities of life has held me back for years. I am only now starting to come to terms with this issue.

All out heroic efforts have not gotten me anyplace except out of the frying pan and into the fire. Modest accumulations over long periods of time have brought the most important and lasting changes into my life.

As an example I got married and joined the military in a heroic effort at raising a family. It didn’t work. I got the marriage and the family but I also got the divorce and the separation from my children. Heroic efforts seem in my life to be like a two edged sword take gives and takes. Slow and steady bring true results. Like a fine wine, the universe and nature will not be rushed. Everything has its own season. If we don’t have something it is because we are not ready to have it. We don’t know enough about what we want.

Modest forward progress has been constant and over the years the thing that has been most empowering in my life. The pattern seems to be take a risk, gain experience and then gain skill. When enough skill has been gained I have advanced. At this point my progress seems to be increasing at an exponential rate. The progress I have made toward personal goals in the past year alone is more than I have made in the ten previous years combined.

I’ve got to conclude that long term planning and working toward long term goals are two of the key ingredients for personal empowerment and goal achievement. This is especially effective when combined with the closure concept. It seems to be an unbeatable combination.

This balance is only possible by working through and with the conditions of my life as they currently are and not as I wish them to be. Break things down into small chunks that are easy to do and put closure on them. Slow and steady does win the race.
