This is some of the best news that I’ve had in a long time! We are finally getting rewarded for what we have accomplished and for what we have earned. This is part of the harvest that we reap this autumn so be grateful for it!
Watching this work itself out has been very fascinating in my personal life. Almost grudgingly things have been slowly beginning to go my way after long years of resistance. First a new computer system, next a different car? I hope things go through…
On Narrative some of my efforts are beginning to be recognized and noticed after months of being a nobody. But I’m also realizing that this blog is perhaps my greatest priority because of all of you. I want to thank each one of you for reading my blog and being here even when I haven’t been paying attention.
You all deserve more time and attention and I’m finally realizing how important this blog really is.
So, here is the rest of the post!
We’ve done it to ourselves and have no one else to blame! In a world where literally no one knows what to believe any more we have all become so skeptical that we have collectively reached a point where only the real thing achieves true empowerment. No more fakes!
Are you the real thing? Or are you busy trying to convince people that you are? It used to be that you could get away with it, convince people that you were really something. Then their belief in you would bring you empowerment and you could “fake it till you made it!”
People can’t be convinced any more, at least not without actual proof of talent or ability. I for one am glad this is happening! It means some common sense might be returning to this crazy world gone mad. It means that control of our world might return to the competent and stable people who are not living in their heads divorced from physical reality.
Just remember this…if you have really done it…then it’s not bragging!
More than that, it’s real! So get out there and do something! Be authentic!
The demise of the fake and the fraud is one of the great surprises of modern society. Being relentlessly bombarded with advertisements and the mental programming of Main Street Media has inadvertently caused us to build up an inner resistance to all the BS! It’s taking a while to show up, but it’s there, and it’s growing! This instinctive resistance is not going away because it’s a survival mechanism!
When I was a family crisis councilor I learned to pay attention to what people did and not what they said because they all had some excuse for their behavior. We all have some excuse for our own behavior…but when our behavior is not bringing us what we need in life its time to take a serious look at that behavior!
The time has come when being incompetent will no longer bring rewards…being competent will be recognized…the sad thing is that it has taken so long. The sad thing is that we no longer believe in others like we used to…now they need to prove themselves to us and we need to prove ourselves to them…
But what’s wrong with that?
