027 Extraordinary Women Part 1 Kokain magazine 1925 Issue 1 There were only five issues of Kokain magazine before it was cancelled. One of the reasons it was cancelled was this anonymous collection of letters and diary entries by a woman of high social standing that almost reads like a spy story. So this was published as a serial for three issues until it had to be pulled. I will publish all three sections as the Kokain slot opens up. Remember I’m taking stories from four sources, Hanns Heinz Ewers; Karl Hans Strobl; Der Orchideengarten and Kokain. So you will need to wait a few stories until the next installment of this series.

This special and tender story is about music and how all of God’s creation loves music. What happens when a Cellist plays for his neighbor’s paralyzed wife? Is it a miracle or a tragedy?

The Rebirth of Melchior Dronte by Paul Busson and newly translated by Joe Bandel.

Sennon Vorauf is “one who has returned”. He has retained or regained the memories of his past life as Baron Melchior Dronte and in this book he tells the life story of the all too human and fallible Baron Dronte.
This fascinating story begins with childhood, progresses through an eventful life of strange and at times mystical events as he searches for the mysterious Ewli, Isa Bektschi who is to play an important part in his life.
What makes this a classic is the depth of human understanding and compassion with which the author treats this subject. He has truly lived the highs and lows that he expresses so well.

Over a hundred years ago author Hanns Heinz Ewers predicted many aspects of our current society and this humorous story tells how women of the future will learn to lay eggs like chickens and raise babies in nurseries where they can be picked up after the first two years of life. Of course only the best women would be allowed to lay eggs and so our social problems would be solved. . .
