I was going on a hunting trip and Professor Gerngruber was going to study the language and customs of the primitive people that lived in the deep forests. Take Marinescu was our guide and we trusted him completely until some strange things began to happen.

054 The Coffee Pot by Theophile Gautier is a strangely moving ghost story written by an author that has been very influential. The guest is invited to sleep in the bedroom of the host’s dead sister who had passed away two years previous. Something magickal began to happen during the long hours of the night which reminds me strangely of some of the animation sequences from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”.
