Simplicissimus Vol 1 No. 5 was first published in 1896 in the German language. This is the first English language translation by Joe E Bandel. It contains the original stories and art as much as possible but in epub format. The stories and poems include: ‘A fin de siecle Daughter’ by S. von Schewitsch; ‘Peace’ by Emil Feshkau; ‘Mother Song’s’ by Mia Holm; ‘Ludwig Feurbach’ by Georg Herwegh; and ‘Father’ by F.
